WWE Rumors: Heel Turn Expected To Happen In Huge Match At ‘WrestleMania 32’
Every single year, there are some big surprises and unexpected things that happen at the biggest wrestling event of the year. WrestleMania 32 is likely going to be no different, and now there are rumors that a major heel turn could take place in a pretty big match. Ten WWE Divas are going to be going against each other and that includes two new names to the main roster, and Eva Marie may not be as trustworthy as some think.
In the past couple of weeks, there have been two big call-ups from NXT to the WWE main roster. Last week, Emma returned to the big-time and joined up with the team of heel Divas that appears to be behind their leader – Lana.
She has a brand new attitude since the last time she was on the main roster. Last she was in WWE, she had been in a comedy role that paired her with Santino Marella, and she never really did much of anything, but she has changed her ways and is now a heel as a part of Team B.A.D. and Blonde. Now, the newest Diva called up from NXT to the WWE main roster is Eva Marie as she made her debut on Monday Night Raw. It was a rather unexpected debut as no one really saw her coming back and joining forces with the Total Divas.
Still, it makes sense as she is on the show along with Paige, Alicia Fox, Natalya, and Brie Bella, but she may not be for long. If fans have watched NXT, then they are aware that Eva Marie has not been received well at all by the crowd.
As a matter of fact, they’ve pretty much booed her out of the building every single time she has shown her face.
According to The Wrestling Observer, WWE was apparently thinking that Eva Marie was going to get a much different reaction upon debuting on the main roster. When she showed up on Monday night, they were hoping that the crowd at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn would pop for her.
Well, that didn’t happen.
As the Total Divas team stood outnumbered on Monday Night Raw, both teams watched Paige and Emma battle it out. Emma got the upper-hand and ended up picking up the win, but then a brawl broke out between the two teams after the bell.
As recapped by WWE, that is when Eva Marie made her debut to help out the Total Divas, but no-one in the Barclays Center could really care at all. No-one really knew what was going on, and there was not the positive reaction that WWE was hoping for at all.
That’s Brie Bella, leader of the Total Divas team, appearing in the Raw Fallout after Monday night’s show and stating how she doesn’t trust Eva Marie. Right there, WWE is already planting the seeds for a full-on heel turn from the recently debuting Divas from NXT.
WrestleZone made a great point that WWE really should not have thought that the New York crowd was going to give Eva Marie a good reaction or not know who she was. With that, things are leading toward her turning on the Total Divas team at WrestleMania 32.
Right now, the five-on-five Divas match is evened up, but the sides may turn on Sunday.
Eva Marie’s debut (again) on the WWE main roster was unexpected on Monday night, and rather uneventful as well. WrestleMania 32 is going to have her on a very big stage, and her turning heel could bring about one of the loudest and most negative reactions to ever be heard by a huge crowd.
