Charrisse Jackson Jordan Disappointed Husband Ditched Her On Her 50th Birthday

Charrisse Jackson Jordan continued to live her life on The Real Housewives of Potomac, even though her marriage was falling apart. Jordan hadn’t lived or really talked to her husband for a while, and her friends were questioning whether she would be heading for a divorce. When the topic surfaced on the show, Charrisse broke down in tears as she clearly didn’t want to talk about it. According to a new Bravo report, Charrisse Jackson Jordan is now revealing that she was very hurt when her husband decided to stay away from her 50th birthday party — a party she had planned in Potomac.

“It was very disappointing that Eddie was a no-show for the party. But I really didn’t expect him to come as he didn’t want to be involved in all this. However, deep down inside I was hoping he would sneak in and show his support. After-all, this is a milestone for me. Nothing could ever stop me from being present for for a special celebration such as this for someone that I love. Clearly, his love for me just isn’t that strong,” Charrisse Jackson Jordan points out in her blog.

It is heartbreaking to read her comments about her marriage, especially since she is now wiser about her marriage than she was back then. According to All About The Tea, Charrisse’s husband was fired as the coach of Rutgers earlier this month. Rather than rushing home to be with his wife and kids, Eddie decided to stay in New Jersey. Jordan remains in their home in Potomac. And Charrisse is shocked that her husband isn’t choosing to come home to spend time with her and their children.

But Charrisse Jackson Jordan did have a blast at her birthday party, which aired during Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Of course, Jordan just wanted to have fun with her friends and forget about her marital troubles while celebrating her big birthday. But since they are filming a Real Housewives show, a party can’t be had without troubles.

“Though I asked the ladies not to bring drama to my party, I knew that would be impossible. I am just glad things didn’t get out of control and they were able to put the drama on pause for yet another time. Geez! You can’t take this crew anywhere without a problem arising. But, it didn’t interfere with The Lady of The Day enjoying her moment and having an amazing time. And for that alone I am truly grateful,” Charrisse Jackson Jordan points out in her blog, referring to various arguments that were brought up during the party.

Not only did Ashley Darby and Karen Huger have tension, but there was also a huge discussion about race and ethnicity — which did seem like an odd place to have such a conversation. But Jordan wanted to focus on the ladies — and their lack of gifts. In fact, only one person decided to bring a gift, and Charrisse is thankful for the extra effort.

“I know I said not to bring drama to my party, but I didn’t say not to bring a GIFT!! Hmmm, I wonder what the rule of etiquette is on this?! Obviously, I know the answer but clearly my friends missed that chapter. If I had a cash bar people would’ve had a LOT to say about that. No one said a word about coming empty handed. A special thanks to Ashley Darby for being the only one to come with gift in tow. YAAAAS! Dom Perignon… My kind of girl,” Charrisse Jackson Jordan points out.
