One Direction’s Liam Payne Banned From Partying With Louis Tomlinson?

In recent weeks Liam Payne has been strongly linked with former X-Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. Liam and Cheryl have been spotted together on numerous occasions, and Payne even described Cheryl as his “favorite woman in the world” when he posted a picture of her on his Instagram account on International Woman’s Day. At present, Payne is in L.A. with Cheryl as she is currently in the studio recording tracks for a new album. Given that Liam’s One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson is also spending his time in L.A., it is perhaps odd that Liam and Louis have not been spotted together.

In fact, the last time Payne and Tomlinson were seen together publicly was at last month’s Brit awards, when the pair attended together to pick up One Direction’s latest award, a best video award for “Drag Me Down.”

With Cheryl working in the studio, it would seem that Liam has plenty of free time on his hands, so one might have expected to see him team up with Tomlinson to paint the town red. To date, there has been no sign of that happening, at least publicly, and if the Mirror is to be believed, it seems that Cheryl may be keeping Payne and Tomlinson apart.

The U.K. tabloid claims that Cheryl has put rules in place that mean Liam is banned from partying, especially with Tomlinson. It seems that a source claims that Cheryl thinks that if Payne goes partying with Tomlinson, it could lead to her being distracted by rumors that Liam is cheating on her.

“Cheryl’s been in the studio working on new music practically day and night since she arrived in LA, and she’s begged Liam to do the same. They’re writing songs together, and she’s told Liam they’ll get a lot more done if he keeps the partying down.

“Of course she knows Liam would never cheat on her, but I think she’s worried about all the attention he might get if he’s out with Louis. If Liam’s even so much as pictured with another girl, it would start rumors.”

If the claims are true, it seems that Liam is paying attention because, any time he has been spotted in L.A., he has been with Cheryl. The Daily Mail reported over the weekend that Cheryl shared a snap of Liam on her Instagram account that saw Payne loaded down with Easter eggs. Perhaps Liam and Cheryl decided to spend Easter weekend on a chocolate binge.

If Cheryl is trying to keep Payne and Tomlinson apart, she will be treading on thin ice with One Direction fans. Some fans believe that the romance between her and Liam is a publicity stunt, whilst others are unhappy that Payne has hooked up with a woman who is still married, though estranged from her husband.

As we reported recently in The Inquisitr Cheryl has already suffered something of a social media backlash from Payne’s fans. Some even attacked Liam for the Instagram post in which he described her as his “favorite woman.” It seems that any woman who is linked with Payne or another member of One Direction has to endure something of a baptism of fire from some fans.

If Cheryl is trying to keep Payne and Tomlinson apart for some reason, that would hardly be a move that would go down well with One Direction fans who are already baffled as to why the boys have been so distant from each other since December. Payne and Tomlinson’s attendance at the Brit Awards is the only time that any of the guys have been together publicly since the promo tour for Made In The A.M. ended in early December.
