Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Meet The Family, ‘The Bachelor’ Stars Ready To Wed?
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell continued their romance with a little family time over the holiday weekend. The Bachelor stars ventured out to Higgins’ hometown of Warsaw, Indiana, and shared a few snaps of their visit on social media. Is this another sign that the two are ready to wed?
Higgins and Bushnell quickly took to social media to show just how much they enjoyed the Easter weekend in Indiana. Bushnell shared a photo on Instagram that featured her posing alongside Higgins and his mother.
“Love these people,” Bushnell wrote in the post.
At the same time, Higgins also got in on the social media fun. For his part, Higgins shared a cute pic on Instagram of Bushnell and his mom giving his simultaneous kisses. “My two girls,” he captained the image.
In addition to spending time with Higgins’ immediate family, E! Online is reporting that the couple made the rounds to several places in Warsaw. In fact, the two stopped to see Higgins’ grandpa, who is a healthy 90-years-old. They also spent some time at the Baker Youth Club of Warsaw in support of the Christian organization.
“WOW! What a great night for the kids of BYC! Special thanks to Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell for giving their time and to ALL that either helped, sponsored, donated and/or attended BYC Reality, IT WAS A HUGE NIGHT!” the organization posted on Instagram. “Thank you!”
Higgins and Bushnell are currently engaged and moving on with their lives together following the finale of The Bachelor. According to Us Magazine, the two reality stars are still planning on a wedding, though it sounds like Higgins may be done with his days in the limelight.
“The spotlight is not a desire of mine,” Higgins stated. “If it happens, it happens and that’s great and grand and whatever you want to call it. Opportunities? Yeah. I have a great job right now and Lauren has a great job. It’s been fun for us.”
Meanwhile, the pair is expected to move in together in Denver, where Ben Higgins currently resides. During an appearance on the Today show, Higgins revealed that he and Bushnell want to move on with the ordinary things in life now that the reality series is finally over. This includes performing everyday tasks together and spending quality time away from the cameras.
“I think most of our days will consist of right now a lot of ‘Us Time,’ ” Higgins stated. “We need that in the public, and just going out to dates and going out to dinner and going grocery shopping is something she really wants to do.”
At this time, it isn’t clear when the two will officially exchange vows. While fans wait for more details on the highly anticipated event, Higgins told People that he never had any doubts that Bushnell would be his final pick.
“From the time she got out of the limo, to the first time I saw her walk around the corner at a cocktail party, everything kept being better than I ever expected,” he told the outlet. “That was freaking me out! I wasn’t used to that.”
Considering their recent social media activity, and the fact that Bushnell is already solidifying her relationship with Higgins’ family, it’s only a matter of time before the two finally tie the knot.
As far as Higgins’ runner-up is concerned, JoJo Fletcher has already gotten over her short romance with Higgins on The Bachelor. Now, the reality star is currently gearing up for the next season of The Bachelorette, where it will be her turn to dish out the roses.
