Blake Shelton Spends Time With Gwen Stefani’s Son, Apollo, Infuriating Gavin Rossdale

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton celebrated the release of their new albums with a relaxing hike. With Stefani’s son, Apollo, in tow, the three appeared to have a great time during their outing as Shelton strengthened his ties with Stefani’s son. However, does Stefani’s ex-husband Gavin Rossdale approve of Shelton’s interactions with his children?

According to E! Online, the trio set off on a hike alongside the beach in order to spend some quality time together. Stefani, Shelton, and Apollo walked in the nearby forest and went for a stroll alongside the beach during their daytime adventure.

Fortunately for fans, Stefani documented some of the hike and posted a video of Shelton walking with Apollo on social media. According to Enstarz, the video was uploaded to Snapchat and featured Shelton spending some alone time with Apollo.

This isn’t the first time Shelton has spent time with Stefani’s children. In fact, an inside source revealed to HollywoodLife that the country star loves doing things with her kids, especially anything involving the outdoors.

“Blake is amazing with the kids. He’s such a big kid himself and loves doing all the same things as they do… One of his favorite things to do with them is go on hikes — they love Malibu Creek. They get out there in the mud, hunting for frogs or playing hide-and-seek. Blake loves any excuse to get outside and get dirty, so he’s a big hit with Gwen’s kids.”

Clearly, Blake Shelton’s bond with Stefani’s children is growing stronger as the months go by, which apparently is not sitting well with Rossdale. Not only is Rossdale mad with Shelton spending time with is son, but he’s also frustrated because he can’t do anything about it.

“It drives Gavin nuts that his kids have bonded with Blake,” the source added. “He hates that they’re spending so much time with him. He doesn’t have any say in it … and it’s killing him.”

Stefani and Rossdale had three children together before deciding to part ways this past summer. Stefani’s latest album, according to Movie News Guide, is a reflection of everything she’s gone through in the past year, including her breakup with Rossdale.

In her newest album, titled This Is What The Truth Feels Like, Stefani found the right avenue in which to place her own frustrations. In fact, she alludes to her breakup in several songs on the album and also drops a few hints about how her romance with Shelton has helped her through everything.

So far, her tactic has worked, as her album is expected to reach the No.1 spot for top album sales this year. If this happens, then it will mark the first time Stefani has achieved this goal on her own.

For his part, Shelton also used his latest album to help vent his emotions after his own divorce from Miranda Lambert. Like Stefani, Shelton hinted at his breakup but also alluded to Stefani throughout his album.

Meanwhile, apart from the drama with Rossdale, Shelton and Stefani’s romance is still just as heated now as it was when it first started. According to Life & Style, Shelton could barely hold back his enthusiasm for this new love during the latest episode of The Voice.

Just prior to introducing Stefani as the newest member of his team, Shelton admitted that Stefani is “hot,” and continued to voice everything he loves about her. “Rock ‘n’ roll goddess, diva, legend, awesome, badass, queen,” he stated. “It’s good to touch you.”

Although Stefani is not a regular judge this season, she will be helping Shelton along as his mentor throughout the singing competition. Fans can watch more of Shelton and Stefani when The Voice airs Tuesday nights on NBC.
