Notorious Casanova John Mayer was spotted in Hollywood, California with Katy Perry on Wednesday with the two dining at the Pace restaurant and later visiting the Chateau Marmont, reports Celebuzz. Wearing a white lace dress, 27-year-old Perry tried to hide a grin in the passenger seat of a car driven by Mayer as the two wrapped up an apparent “date night,” seemingly confirming rumors of a budding romance between the two that have been making media rounds in recent months.

This marks the first time the duo have been photographed together, and an eyewitness told Us Magazine that the two were holding hands across the table at dinner. “They’re just hooking up right now,” a source says, adding, “It’s not serious — yet!” Perry has been most recently linked to fellow Florence and the Machine musician Robert Ackroyd.

Though their relationship stands unconfirmed by either party as of now, Katy Perry has been hinting that she’s ready to give love another shot. She opened up about her divorce from Brand and her openness to marrying again in a recent interview, notes People. “I’m a woman who likes to be courted, strongly.
