‘Bachelor’ Stars Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Head Back Home: Where Are They Hanging Out Now That The Cameras Are Gone?
The past week has been a whirlwind for Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell of ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 season. Ben and Lauren’s finale aired last Monday night, and they’ve been together non-stop since it aired. While Higgins and Bushnell did the typical media tour in New York after the Bachelor finale, they now have headed off somewhere much more quiet for a spell. What’s the scoop?
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell are now able to publicly talk about how they are engaged and say they are making big plans for the future. As the Bachelor stars detailed during the After the Final Rose ceremony, she plans to move to Denver in a few weeks to live where he is based. After the ATFR special, they jetted off to New York to do media appearances, and they shared via social media that they had also hit up Broadway to see The Lion King. According to Page Six, it wasn’t all fun and games in New York, as the Indiana and Oregon natives actually got a bit lost. Even in the midst of trying to get directions at a subway station, many were excited to meet them, and it sounds as if the two were great with fans.

Now that the media commitments are over, Ben and Lauren have headed somewhere very different to spend some quality time together: Higgins’ hometown of Warsaw, Indiana. Lauren had already been there once during filming, but now she doesn’t have to share him with any other bachelorettes. The Bachelor stars are spending some time with his parents, and Lauren shared a fun photo via her Snapchat showing a picture of Ben as a young child.
Ben shared a photo showing Lauren with some horses and noted that they’re in Warsaw, and it looks like they are embracing a much simpler life now compared to filming and their trip to New York. While hanging out in Indiana may seem like a big change for Bushnell, who has been living in Marina del Rey, California, she seems to be perfectly content in the quieter area where Ben grew up. Moving to Denver will likely be a great fit for Lauren, who works as a flight attendant. A recent clip shared via People shows that she’s happy to embrace regular day-to-day life experiences like grocery shopping and throwing on sneakers, eating some French fries, but, of course, it’s a thriving area that will not be as small and rural as Warsaw.
Will Ben and Lauren manage to stick together for the long haul? The Bachelor lovebirds say they are looking to get married sooner rather than later, and while they are already talking a bit about wanting a family together, they say they are not in a rush on that front. It certainly looks solid that Lauren will move to Denver very soon, and Ben proposed a second time during the ATFR special to show Lauren that he truly believes that she is the one for him. He has shared that he felt that this was important to do, showing her that the chaos from the last bit of filming was totally behind them now.
This Bachelor duo certainly seems to be head-over-heels for one another and say that after weathering some challenging moments post-filming, they are strong and absolutely in love. Fans cannot wait to see what comes next for Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, and many are rooting for a televised wedding and babies sooner rather than later. Do you think Ben and Lauren will manage to beat the odds and stay together over the long haul?
