Irina Shayk Goes Blonde: Fashion Makeover For Sultry Photo Shoot With Celeb Photographer
Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend Irina Shayk just did a drastic transformation after she decided to dye her hair blonde.
Though Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk is known for her dark locks, she reportedly made the transformation to suit a specific photo shoot with popular celebrity photographer Mert Alas. Shayk posted two photos on her Instagram account as she sported her new blonde look.
One of the photos’ caption read, “And once u go blonde its only for my @mertalas ))) double trouble and its your fault [sic].”
Her first photo was a solo photo of her. It also had a more challenging caption that read, “Who said I can’t be blonde?”
According to Daily Mail, Irina Shayk did a racy photo shoot with Mert Alas. The two hinted the photo shoot’s theme in their Instagram photo where Shayk was wearing a revealing white coat that highlighted her cleavage as she laid back on Mert Alas.
Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott are a renowned photography duo who have shot high-end celebrities like Lady Gaga, Shakira, Madonna, Scarlett Johansson, Lindsay Lohan, and Victoria Beckham.
This is not the first time Irina Shayk made drastic changes to her hairdo just to fit in a photo shoot. Last year, she also posted a photo of her dark orange bob. However, that hairstyle did not last long. She got back to her original dark tresses after a couple of weeks.
Irina Shayk just became Vogue‘s breakout beauty model after having transitioned from the raunchy photo shoots of Sports Illustrated to high-end fashion shows. She recently got featured as one of the models for Diane von Furstenberg.
Last year, Irina Shayk had a big international contract when L’Oreal Paris named her as their new international spokeswoman.
Blonde is the New Summer Trend
Apparently, blonde is this year’s hair trend for summer as more models and celebrities switch to this hair color.
Last week, IMG model and Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber went blonde. Her natural brunette locks were very similar to her mother’s. Aside from the hair color, she also chopped her hair. However, Kaia Gerber said that it was only a wig. Though it looked great on the 14-year-old model, she might still be attached to her natural hair color.
According to Pretty Hairstyles, blonde bobs are trendy this 2016. Taylor Swift has been sporting this hairstyle since 2015. As this style continues to become a classic in Hollywood, many celebrities follow suit. Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Margot Robbie were some of those celebrities who stormed the red carpets this year with their blonde bobs.
On the other hand, long blonde locks are still as classy as before. Devon Windsor, Reese Witherspoon, and Kate Bosworth were the standouts for this year.
At the same time, transitional hair color plays on blonde styling is also one of the top trends this 2016. Top models like Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne were some of those blondes who made aggressive color plays. They used different shades and tones in the styling.
Amber Heard also has this natural-looking transitional blonde hair color. Amber Heard rocked a pure blonde hairstyle when she did Three Days to Kill. Amber Heard is known for easily transitioning from brunette to blonde. However, her toned blonde styling seemed to be the crowd’s favorite.
Pure and transitional blonde hair colors are becoming more and more popular this year. Moreover, experimental coloring is also becoming trendy. Rainbow hair colors and purple hues are also taking Instagram by storm.
“Trends can start with people on the street wearing an intriguing look that others want to replicate,” explains Jim Markham, founder and CEO of ColorProof Evolved Color Care. “Other hair color trends are celebrity driven — a star can wear a new look and it will catch fire, influencing women nationwide to recreate the look as their own. Color trends can also begin on the runways at New York, London, Paris and Milan. These editorialized hairstyles provide inspiration and are interpreted in a wearable version for every day.”
