Drita D’Avanzo Says Carla Facciolo Blamed Her For ‘Mob Wives’ Firing, Was Purposefully Kept Away From Big Ang At Reunion
After filming the Mob Wives season 6 reunion show, Drita D’Avanzo did a tell-all interview with AfterBuzz TV. During the interview, Drita made a lot of claims concerning the show and her co-stars. What Drita said during the interview apparently got a lot of people upset and she received quite a bit of criticism from some of the show’s viewers. On Sunday, Drita posted a defiant message to her Instagram page for her critics.
Drita wrote that it must be annoying that she now can’t be edited to benefit people’s “BS” and “lies.”
“For those that did not like my interview with After Buzz talking about the reunion. Wonder how annoying it must be for u that I can’t be edited to benefit ur BS n lies. Here’s a post because I feel so bad about speaking facts n something u never do. Speak #Truth.”
Attached to the message was a photo of a young girl sticking her middle finger up. Imposed on top of the photo is the message, “Sorry if I offended you but you needed to be offended. Here’s my apology and one more thing…f**k you!!”

What exactly did Drita say in her interview, which aired on Wednesday night, the same night that the final Mob Wives reunion show aired, that so offended some people? Drita pretty much claimed that the show was edited to make her out to be the bad guy. According to Drita, on season 6, her co-stars Karen Gravano, Renee Graziano, and Carla Facciolo, recognizing that she’s a fan favorite, ganged up on her in a bid to take her down. Drita further claimed that production purposefully kept her away from Angela “Big Ang” Raiola during the reunion filming because they didn’t want her to have any support during the reunion.

Drita D’Avanzo explained that after season 3, the cast members decided to demand a raise. Drita said that she, like Karen Graziano and Carla Facciolo, decided to not resume filming unless she got a raise. While Drita got her raise, Karen and Carla were fired and then blamed her for their firing. Drita maintained that she had nothing to do with their firing. Drita, pointing out that everyone was getting along at that point, and said that she wanted everyone to get a raise and that she actually cried during a meeting upon learning of the cast change. Drita said that Karen, despite being told by someone very high up that Drita wrote two letters to the network protesting the cast change, still blames her for everything.
Drita claimed that was when her friendship with Carla changed. According to Drita, it was Carla who ignored her, believing that she played some role in her firing.
“I didn’t drop her [Carla] as a friend. I wasn’t liking a lot of things I saw and heard for myself but it still wasn’t that serious where I would never talk to her again. But what happened was when we had to renegotiate…I didn’t go to work because I wanted a raise…and they did what I did but they got fired and they negotiated with me. Why they get fired? I don’t know…I’m not the boss…Now they were angry…Carla was like texting me, ‘Oh I don’t believe it but they’re saying you’re the reason we got fired’…Now she [Carla] wasn’t on the show, she disappeared. She wouldn’t call, talk to us [Drita and Big Ang]. Like then I was just like, ‘Well wait a minute. Were you just hanging out with me because we were on a show together? Like I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you to come back but why aren’t you calling or talking to me anymore?’ Driving in the parking lot I would go outside and be like, ‘Hey Carla, what’s up?’ or whatever…She was so mad I guess because she lost her job but that was not my fault and I felt sorry for her. But she really really, like was angry about it.
Drita implied that Carla turned against her and aligned herself with Karen and Renee Graziano in order to secure her spot on the show.
“Let’s be real…anyone casted on the show will tell you the same story…they will tell you if you hate Drita, or you’ll make up lies about her or go against her, you’ll be on the show.”
Then when Carla came back on towards the end of the fifth season and sixth season, she was all of a sudden good friends with Renee and Karen. Drita found Carla’s sudden friendships with Renee and Karen an “opportunist” move. According to Drita, Karen used to tell her that Carla’s a racist, is a part of the Ku Klux Klan, and sleeps with married men. Drita also said that Renee told her that Carla sleeps with married men.
Drita said that during filming and afterwards, Carla would text her, saying that they have no problem with one another, only to later find out that Carla was tweeting all this nasty stuff about her.

Regarding the final Mob Wives reunion show, which showed Angela “Big Ang” Raiola having a short conversation with Karen, Renee, and Carla before leaving the warehouse prior to Drita’s arrival, Drita said that she was kept away from Big Ang on purpose.
“I was so upset that she wasn’t, like I didn’t get to film with her the last scene. But that was really messed up that they did that…They purposefully did that.”
It was announced prior to Mob Wives‘ season 6 premiere that the show wasn’t going to continue on for another season. Yet will viewers see Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano, and Carla Facciolo on TV again? Last week, Jennifer Graziano, the show’s producer and creator, and Renee’s sister, teased that she and the women are “working on a project together.” It seems that the new project doesn’t include Drita D’Avanzo.
