Victoria’s Secret Model Candice Swanepoel Is Pregnant And Shares First Belly Photo On Instagram
Candice Swanepoel, a Victoria’s Secret Model, is pregnant, E! Online reports. She confirmed the news on Instagram with the first photo of her baby belly.
This will be the blonde bombshell’s first child with her fiancé, Hermann Nicoli, who propsed to Swanepoel in August of 2015.

An insider source reports that the couple is very happy about the news that they have a baby on the way.
“They are very happy,” the insider source said. “They plan to spend the summer in New York.”
Another source reportedly told E! that Swanepoel is going into her second trimester and that the timing is perfect. Her best friend and fellow Victoria Secret Angel, Behati Prinsloo, is also pregnant. Prinsloo is married to Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine.
“Candice and Behati are best friends and they are not far apart from each other in pregnancy due dates,” the source conintues. “They both have been experiencing the first stages of being pregnant together and are happy to have each other who understand. They can’t wait to be mommies!”
The South African model and her fiance have been together for 10 years and met when she was just 17-years-old.
According to E! Online, Candice Swanepoel was spotted showing off her engagement ring at Rihanna’s New York Fashion Week party in September of last year.
As the Daily Mail reports, before Hermann popped the question Swanepoel already felt like they were married.
“I’m not sure about marriage yet,'”she said in a recent interview with Hello Fashion Monthly.“I kind of feel married already. Ten years is kind of a marriage, so I don’t really need papers to tell me that.”
If her current lifestyle is anything to go on, we can be pretty sure that Candice Swanepoel will be maintaining her diet during her pregnancy.
“I’m conscious of working out and staying healthy, and in general I always go for a more natural approach,” the model said in her interview with Hello Fashion Monthly.
But she did admit that she has her “cheat days.”
“But I can never say ‘no’ to a good carbonara pasta or a sticky toffee pudding. South Africans have a little bit of a British side and I love a full English breakfast as well.”
Candice Swanepoel is a South African supermodel. Last year she made headlines when she fell on the Givenchy SS16 runway. As the Daily Mail reported at the time, Swanepoel lost her footing as she strutted the catwalk and fell on her hand. It looked like she tripped on the the laces of her fringed booties and that caused her to take a tumble.
But Swanepoel acted like a true professional and completed her walk like the Victoria’s Secret model she is. Lucky for Swanepoel, she was helped to her feet by one of the fashion show attendees which allowed her to continue her walk, after a quick laugh.
After the show, the only bruises Swanepoel had to complain about were the ones to her ego.
“Thank you to who ever picked me up off the runway tonight,” she wrote in a caption on an Instagram photo of some of the scratches she sustained. “Left with little scratches but mostly a bruised ego #ohwell’
Swanepoel had been rocking a gorgeous sheer lace dress from Givenchy’s SS16 line. The gothic gown was paired with black and red strappy heels with an open-laced detail that could have caused the fall.
Candice wasn’t the only model who fell that night. One of her fellow models, a brunette, was also an unfortunate victim of the treacherous runway and tripped on her black shoelaces.
