‘The Bachelorette’ 2016 Spoilers: JoJo Fletcher Begins Filming, First Kisses And Dates Are Already Done

JoJo Fletcher is ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 lead and filming has just gotten started. Viewers watched as Fletcher talked about her experience on The Bachelor with Ben Higgins, being left blindsided and broken-hearted at the final rose ceremony, and then being immediately announced as the spring lead. It is very unusual for the franchise to go with a season’s runner-up, but fans had made it clear they wanted JoJo in this role. What’s known so far about the new outing for the show?

Show creator Mike Fleiss teased some mild Bachelorette spoilers throughout the first night of filming. While fans will have to wait a while for specifics, Fleiss said that 20 guys were left after the first rose ceremony and he feels confident that JoJo Fletcher will find love. Other posts teased that JoJo was amazing during her first night and that as always the case, the first night of introductions was a long one. As for the guys, Fleiss’ Bachelorette spoilers indicated that this new batch of guys are wild, great, and some might be a bit too enamored with Fletcher already.

JoJo has reportedly had her first date by now, and E! Online teases that she’s already had her first kiss too. The site’s insider says that Fletcher is very excited and over the moon to have this Bachelorette opportunity, and she is serious about finding true love. While many a lead in the past has taken the gig due to dreams of finding fame and fortune, the source says that JoJo is sincere in wanting to find love.

Viewers fell in love with JoJo during Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor, and many think she will be a great fit for this Bachelorette 2016 show. She’s reportedly been upbeat, approachable, and bubbly in these early moments with the guys and the first night went really well.

Of course, Reality Steve’s spoilers will be breaking down plenty of scoop throughout filming. He is already sharing some tidbits, releasing a handful of bachelors involved and noting one location where JoJo and her guys apparently will be heading soon. Steve’s Bachelorette spoilers indicate that Fletcher and the guys will head to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort shortly for what will likely become Episode 4 of Season 12.

Will there be any familiar faces in the mix of contestants this spring? Those who love Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers may have reason to get excited, as his brother Jordan is one of this spring’s bachelors. Many have a hunch that he will be a lock-in for a hometown date this spring. Reality Steve’s spoilers have detailed a few other guys participating this season as well, but nobody else particularly notable yet.

What about past franchise contestants like Nick Viall or Juan Pablo Galavis? Or perhaps JoJo’s ex-boyfriend Chad, who showed up during her hometown date with Ben to stir the pot? Galavis reportedly has expressed an interest in trying to woo Fletcher, though fans probably don’t have to worry too much about that happening.

As for Nick, who had some contact with JoJo before she got the gig, he has tweeted that he won’t be on The Bachelorette this time around. Some might say that the third time could be the charm, since he was on both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s seasons, coming in second both times, but it looks like he fully intends on sitting this one out.

Filming will likely wrap up with the final rose ceremony taking place in early May and Season 12 premieres on Monday, May 23.
