‘Mob Wives’ Star Drita D’Avanzo Blasts Production, Reveals Behind The Scene Secrets About Karen, Carla, And Renee
Mob Wives is officially over, and after an explosive reunion show, most of the cast is looking forward to better opportunities and maybe even another show. For Drita D’Avanzo, she’s glad the madness is over, and she’s thrilled that she no longer has to interact or work with her “fake” cast members, Karen Gravano, Renee Graziano, and Carla Facciolo. Karen would like the Mob Wives fans to believe that Drita is the bully, and that all she did was make up lies about her to discredit her. Is it possible that Drita is honest, and Karen is spinning facts to benefit her for some (unknown) reason?
Before the reunion show, Karen said that after the episode it would be apparent who was the one that lied. In Karen’s mind, she thought that all the drama she caused about wanting to rip Drita to shreds was proof that Drita was the one stirring the drama. D’Avanzo explained in an interview with Glammir that the show was trying to push her out so they could continue with Mob Wives without her. As her proof, she claimed that she only filmed if it would cause an uproar with Karen and Carla. Other than that, they only aired scenes of her trashing Karen — which only strengthened Gravano’s claims that Drita was obsessed with her.

According to Fashion & Style, Drita argues that the show creator, Jennifer Graziano (who happens to be Renee’s sister), purposely excluded her from press events and out of storylines on the show. She revealed that she was in a bad spot and had to comply with whatever they wanted because it was Jennifer’s show. D’Avanzo claimed that members of the media contacted her and asked when she’d be available for an interview because the public relation manager for Mob Wives stated she was currently unavailable, but Renee and Karen were able to be interviewed. She made sure to say multiple times that she wasn’t making this stuff up and it’s 100 percent true.
“It’s very hard for me. I proved points and facts of what a liar Karen is, and they took it out.Anybody casted on this show will tell you the same story. You could speak to everyone on this show, and they will tell you, if you hate Drita, or you’ll make up lies about her or go against her, you’ll be on this show.”

Another problem Drita had with production was that the last scene with Angela “Big Ang” Raiola was poorly done. She felt that it should have included all the original cast members and shouldn’t have excluded her from the scene. She felt that that was not right and was another example of production giving her the short end of the stick in editing.
Drita explained that Carla talked so much trash about Renee and Karen, including their families. She went on to say that whenever you disagree with Karen, she brings up that you must be a racist or have a problem with her father. She honestly believes that Karen and Renee were brainwashed (or in cahoots ) with Jennifer with the plan to hate her and try to turn the fans against her — especially in season 6.
It’s hard to know who is telling the truth because they both (Karen and Drita) are believable. Drita claimed that she proved at the reunion that Karen lied about her but they only aired parts that made her look badly.
