Taylor Swift And Calvin Harris’ Wedding Is Set To Be One Of The Biggest Showbiz Events Of The Year

As a celebrity couple, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are undeniably no secret. International pop superstar Taylor Swift has been dating Scottish DJ and record producer Calvin Harris since March 2015. Their pairing was seen as something of an ideal one, as in June 2015 the duo were ranked as the highest-paid celebrity couple by Forbes.

Taylor Swift had undeniably become lucky in love, so it was only a matter of time before wedding bells started ringing for the duo. There’s now talk that the big wedding between two of the planet’s biggest stars could take place this year, and considering the details that have slowly been leaked, it’s going to be one spectacular affair.

That being said, Swift and Harris’ wedding isn’t going to be an occasion for all of Hollywood’s biggest stars to enjoy, with Taylor Swift already refusing to invite Kendal Jenner to the wedding following their recent squabble. Kendal Jenner is believed to be dating Taylor Swift’s ex, Harry Styles of One Direction fame. Their pairing appears to have annoyed Swift a good deal, considering the pair were once best friends.

Talking of people who will be invited to the wedding, Selena Gomez is sure to be placed pretty prominently on that list. In fact, Taylor Swift reportedly wants the 23-year-old to be her maid of honor at the wedding. It appears that Kendall Jenner has been well and truly pushed out of the squad and replaced with Gomez. On the other side of the wedding, Calvin Harris is believed to have already selected his best man. In fact, he’s keeping things a little more low-key, inviting his brother Edward Wiles to assume the top job.

Many are already speculating around whether the wedding could see a little bit of romance between Taylor Swift’s maid of honor, Selena Gomez, and Harris’ brother.

Whilst the guest list for the big wedding might be a very important aspect of this love affair, we can’t pretend that all eyes aren’t going to be on Swift herself and what she’s wearing to her big day. Whilst Swift is no stranger to fancy frocks, as we’ve seen from many of her red carpet appearances, with her wedding music video she took an altogether much more simplistic approach. In fact, we wouldn’t be all that surprised if she followed that same approach with her actual wedding to Calvin Harris.

What Taylor’s wearing will only be half of the story however. The hair-do she chooses for the big day is already a source of great speculation and will likely continue to be up until the big day. However, it’s worth keeping in mind that, at 26, Taylor Swift isn’t as young as she once was and might even want to explore some more simplistic short hairstyles for older women. That’s not to say that she won’t look fantastic whatever choice she makes.

The speculation around Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris’ big day has only just begun, we’d expect to see plenty more details around the guest list and outfits before the big day comes around. However, the big question on everybody’s lips now is exactly where will the wedding be held? Will Swift get married at her home in the United States, or will the pair opt to ditch the sun for the UK or Scotland in particular, the home of Calvin Harris. We’re sure it won’t be long before we find out.
