‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Star Kathryn Edwards Is A Diva Both On And Off Screen

Anyone tuning in to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills knows that Kathryn Edwards on-screen behavior makes quite the splash. But apparently, the newcomer has crossed the line when the cameras were off, as well.

An insider spoke with Radar Online, claiming that “[p]roducers told Kathryn she needed to be a villain for this season since the departure of Kim Richards left the show rather boring. Known for being outspoken, Kathryn didn’t really need to do anything differently from the way she normally behaves!”

The source added that towards the end of filming, Kathryn’s ego was completely out of control. “She was showing up late, and bringing her own hair and make-up team. This would delay shooting for hours. It was rude and arrogant, especially given that Kathryn is new to the show!”

Jezebel reports that on the latest episode, housewife Erika Girardi invited the women over to her place for a dinner so she could introduce her husband, Tom. But the evening didn’t go as planned. Kathryn started off by harassing Lisa Rinna about her weight, then for the rest of the night acted loud and obnoxious, or as Lisa Vanderpump called it, “cheeky.”

Kathryn also got into an argument with Erika, the person who invited her over to her house. The argument ended with Erika’s husband, Tom, telling the new housewife to leave their home.

“I can’t believe the words that were coming out of this woman’s mouth,” Erika said in her confessional. “This is really rude. I would never come to someone’s home, meet someone’s husband for the first time and act like a f**king a**.”

But Erika isn’t the only one not feeling the love for newcomer Kathryn Edwards. Lisa Rinna also shares those same feelings. During an exclusive video from the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, courtesy of People, Rinna tells Edwards that, “You know you talk a lot! You have to let people get in a little bit because you talk a lot.”

She continued on in front of the camera, sharing more of her feelings towards Edwards. “Kathryn is talking so much and she’s loud and she’s aggressive, I’d like to muzzle Kathryn at this point. Tape would work too. Like, duct tape.”

But Edwards claims that she is just simply “very passionate” and is only trying to show Erika why they should become friends.

While the passion part may be true, it seems all the spotlight surrounding the new reality star has started to get to her.

According to Star Pulse, a new report claims that she has bit of more than she could chew and has recently deleted all her social media accounts. The report comes after the drama-filled episode, which she received a lot of negative feedback for, specifically the conversation between Edwards and Erika.

This is not the first time that Kathryn has ruffled feathers. Erika shared with Edwards during a lunch date that Lisa Vanderpump had created a web that the housewives keep getting caught in. The conversation seemed to be in confidence, but Edwards turned around and told Lisa about what Erika had said. Lisa then confronted Erika about it.

This made many believe that Edwards wasn’t the type of person to be trusted, and most likely received a lot of backlash on social media.

It is also speculated that along with deleting her social media accounts, Edwards might be announcing her exit from the show during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion because the spotlight has been too much.
