Is There Someone Else On Mars? NASA Photo Shows Alien Scout Monitoring Curiosity Rover From A Rocky Martian Hill, UFO Hunters Claim [Photos]
An online UFO and alien hunter claims to have spotted in a series of NASA photos of rocky Martian hills an alien scout peeking from behind rocks on a Mars hill and monitoring the activities of Curiosity rover from a safe distance. According to the alien hunter, the series of photos snapped recently by NASA’s Curiosity rover show a lone figure with limbs crouched on the side of a rocky hill on Mars watching NASA’s rover Curiosity as it explored the Martian surface.
Alien hunter Frank Van Asch announced the bizarre discovery in a video uploaded to YouTube on March 11, 2016. The YouTube video includes images snapped on February 29, 2016, and March 3, 2016, by Curiosity rover’s Navcam: Left B (NAV_LEFT_B).

Asch claims that through the images, NASA inadvertently provides alien hunters the best evidence so far that other spacefaring alien races made it to Mars before NASA.
The alien hunter points out that while black and white images of the Martian hillside snapped by Curiosity on February 9 (Sol 1267; 2016-02-29 00:41:50 UTC) do not show the mysterious figure, color images of the same hillside snapped from a different angle on March 3 show the figure crouched on the hill.
The alien figure watching Curiosity from a rocky hill could be a biological alien or robotic scout sent from a secret alien base on Mars to monitor the movements and activities of NASA’s Mars rover.
According to alien hunters, evidence that the figure is a biological or robotic scout comes from the observation that it appears in only the color images snapped on March 3. This implies that it arrived at the spot after Curiosity rover snapped the first images on February 29.
“[It] appears to be in [one or two] photos, but gone in the other two.”
Although some UFO and alien hunters thought the figure might be a biological alien species, most thought it was more likely an artificial object, such as a robotic explorer on the Mars.
“The object seems to be a sort of machine or transport vehicle,” a UFO researcher notes. “One part of the object is clearly visible… and [Asch] wonders whether someone else is on Mars who monitors the activities of the Mars Rover.”

UFO blogger Scott Waring also concludes that the figure on Mars was likely a robotic rover with mechanical limbs rather than wheels like NASA’s Curiosity rover.
“This object on Mars looks like some kind of robot with legs,” he comments.
He notes that a robotic rover with legs would be able to move around the hilly Martian terrain more effectively than a rover with wheels. He also notes that the alien rover has colors that match its surroundings. The color camouflage suggests that the object is an artificial device designed to move about on Mars undetected. But the Curiosity rover captured it on camera at an opportune moment that it was exposed despite its camouflage colors.
“[It] appears to be in [one or two] photos, but gone in the other two,” Waring writes. “The object has colors that match its surroundings. It makes sense… having legs to move a rover around might be much better at climbing the hills of the area.”
This is not the first time that UFO and alien hunters have reported spotting a mysterious alien figure on the Red Planet. Alien hunters UFOvni2012 reported one of the most bizarre sightings ever in August last year — a “strange alien woman walking on Mars.”
The alien hunter uploaded the alleged photographic evidence to his YouTube channel on June 20, 2012. The Curiosity rover image, which appeared to show the ghostly figure of a bare-chested woman standing on a rock formation observing Curiosity rover, sparked a furious debate among members of the online UFO community.
“What is a bare-breasted woman in flowing dress doing on Mars?” UFO hunters asked.
“It looks like a woman partly cloaked. The woman seems to have breasts… indicated by the shadow on its chest. We also see two arms that are lighter in color and what looks like a head with long hair,” UFO blogger Scott Waring commented at the time.

Alien hunters have also made several bizarre claims of evidence of aliens on Mars, including alien claws, alien faces, temples, robotic probes, and entrances to a myriad of alien bases. Some have even reported sighting alien military installations on Mars and recently a handgun apparently left behind on the Red Planet by a careless alien visitor.
Some members of the UFO community also believe that NASA has stationed “non-terrestrial” officers on Mars. A Curiosity rover Navcam photo taken on Sol 50 (2012-09-26 13:59:04 UTC) went viral online in January 2015 after UFO hunters claimed it shows a human “non-terrestrial officer” conducting maintenance on Curiosity rover.
