‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Spoilers — The Season Finale Is Set, But Will Ben Higgins Have A Change Of Heart On The Live Special Tonight?
For those that haven’t yet read the spoilers or stayed caught up with all of the gossip and rumors, you will find out who Ben Higgins gives his final rose on tonight’s season finale of The Bachelor. It’s between Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher, but will the right woman win in your eyes? The better question is – Will Ben change his mind on the “After the Final Rose” live special set to air right after the season finale?
Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the new season of The Bachelor starring Ben Higgins. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.
On the overnight dates, Ben Higgins reportedly slept with the two remaining finalists and Caila Quinn as well, who was still on the show. During the Fantasy Suite time together, Ben also ended up saying “I love you” to both JoJo and Lauren, so that only adds to all the drama.
Many believe that Ben will pick no one and ride off into the sunset all by his lonesome self. That may make for a good western, but it’s not true.

There is a winner and the winner is known, and on tonight’s season finale, Ben is going to give the final rose to one woman and propose to Lauren Bushnell.
The proposal is elegant, charming, sweet, romantic, and pretty much everything that any woman would ever want. It happens on the beach in Jamaica, and both are thrilled to be the loves of one another’s lives. That proposal happened a few months ago, though. Since the taping ended for the 2016 season of The Bachelor, time has been spent alone and not with each other. Lauren and Ben have not been able to go out in public, say a word about their engagement, or likely really see each other.
ABC likes to try and keep things secret, as you all well know. Still, the season finale is set in stone and as The Washington Post reports, Ben Higgins is going to make his final choice and propose to Lauren Bushnell.
One has to wonder though…have things stayed happy between them all this time? The “After the Final Rose” live special is supposed to have the couple together for the first time in the eyes of everyone, and let them share how much they love one another. While that is possible and is expected, what if things have changed?
Years ago on season 13 of The Bachelor, that is actually what happened.
After the season finale of The Bachelor taped that year, spoilers had gotten out that Jason Mesnick had chosen Melissa Rycroft to be his happily ever after. Everything seemed right with the world until the “After the Final Rose” special in which he changed his mind.Jason revealed then that he had continued a conversational relationship with Molly Malaney, the runner-up that season. It was then announced that Jason couldn’t marry Melissa and it was Molly he wanted to be with and that he loved.
Despite numerous reports going around, Gossip Cop states that there will be no big surprise on the live special tonight. Ben Higgins does not change his mind, and he also doesn’t get dumped by his fiancee as so many rumors state.
As TheInquisitr earlier reported, The Bachelor host Chris Harrison has had some rather strong words about Ben Higgins and his actions this season. He also said that he wouldn’t be surprised to see Higgins go a little (Jason) Mesnick on the season finale.
“And then in the finale, obviously, you’ve seen how emotional Ben gets – he does pull at least a 3/4 Mesnick. He is that emotional. He really narrowed it down to two women that he loves and he is trying to make this decision. He knows that he’s going to hurt somebody and he knows that he’s going to lose somebody he cares about, so it is really moving. I think people are going to love it.”
Ben Higgins has done well at keeping the drama to a minimum on this season of The Bachelor even though he’s caused a bit of it in the past couple episodes. Still, the season finale is the end-all, be-all for him and Lauren Bushnell is the one he gives the ring to. Believe it or not, she is also the one he stays with through the “After the Finale Rose” live special and beyond.
