Ben Higgins has been in Los Angeles all weekend prepping for the The Bachelor season finale and After the Final Rose special. Several Bachelor alum will be in the audience for Monday night’s live three-hour event, and Ben got to shake off the pre-finale jitters this weekend with several of his co-stars from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette , including Season 11 winner Shawn Booth.
Ben was the third runner-up on Kaitlyn’s season and is now close friends with many of the guys who competed for her final rose. On Saturday, Kaitlyn’s fiancé Shawn Booth spent time with his competitor-turned-friend and shared some of their conversation on Snapchat.
It turns out that Shawn is now the keeper of one of Ben’s biggest secrets. Shawn asked him who he picked and he did the big reveal in a brief Snapchat video.
“So, I’m just hanging out with my good buddy, Ben H.,” Shawn told his Snapchat followers. “Right now, Ben’s going to tell me who he picks on Monday.”
Ben leaned over and told Shawn who his bride-to-be is – or so it appeared — and it was no surprise that fans could not hear a word he said.
Shawn responded with a look of shock and said, “NO!! It is?” It’s not even certain if he actually knows or if they were goofing around, but there’s no doubt that Shawn is sworn to secrecy if Ben did tell him the name of the girl he is engaged to.
For weeks, spoilers pointed to Lauren Bushnell getting Ben’s final rose, but now there is some confusion over how the season final will play out. It could be that Shawn Booth (and Ben’s parents) are the only ones that know what really happened when the finale was filmed in Jamaica last November.

Blogger Reality Steve is confident that Ben proposed to Lauren and they are still engaged, although there is plenty of tabloid gossip that points to JoJo getting a big Neil Lane diamond ring and walking away from the show as the future Mrs. Higgins.
A video clip released by ABC shows Ben’s mother, Amy Higgins, telling the show’s producers who she would pick if she could make Ben’s decision for him. It turns out that Amy felt that she has the most in common with JoJo Fletcher and would choose the 25-year-old Texas real estate developer over flight attendant Lauren Bushnell.
If Steve’s spoilers are correct and Lauren does win Ben’s heart, Lauren’s first few family dinners with the Higgins will be awkward to say the least. Perhaps she will understand that it wasn’t easy for Ben’s mother to be put on the spot on camera and choose one girl over the other.
In the latest print issue of Us Weekly , the magazine’s insider also confirms that Lauren is the Season 20 winner, stating that once Ben got over saying an emotional goodbye to JoJo, he was excited to propose to Lauren and told her he wanted to “wake up next to her every morning” for the rest of his life.
Monday night will be an exciting night for not only Ben and his bride-to-be, but for Ben’s former co-stars who will be in the studio audience during the live finale. In addition to Shawn Booth and Kaitlyn Bristowe, fans can expect to see recently married Bachelor in Paradise stars Tanner and Jade Tolbert, and former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman.
Don’t miss a minute of the three-hour Bachelor season finale on Monday, March 13. The finale begins at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, followed by the live After the Final Rose special at 10 p.m. ET.
