Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Ready To Wed? Couple Reportedly Planning A $2 Million Oklahoma Wedding

With their romance stronger than ever, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani appear ready to take their relationship to the next level. It may have been less than a year since they both went through a divorce, but it seems like only a matter of time before The Voice stars officially tie the knot. If they do decide to wed this year, where will they officially exchange vows? Are they planning on keeping things low key in Shelton’s hometown in Oklahoma?

According to Hollywood Life, not only have Shelton and Stefani decided to marry each other, but they already have a good idea about the location and theme. Apparently, Stefani wants to have the ceremony at Shelton’s home on the lake in Oklahoma and wants everything to have a southern charm.

“Gwen wants a corn maze and carnival rides, plus okra, smoked meats and barbecue,” an inside source revealed. “The dress code will be ‘Southern dressy-casual,’ like plaids, flip-flops and nice jeans.”

Even though Stefani wants to go all country with the wedding doesn’t mean she’s up to sparing any expenses. In fact, Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Shelton and Stefani are preparing to spend around $2 million on their wedding. This isn’t all that surprising considering Shelton and Stefani’s previous weddings.

When Shelton married Miranda Lambert, the two had a lavish ceremony in London at St. Paul’s church and then celebrated again in L.A. a few weeks after the fact. During her union with Gavin Rossdale, Stefani sported an elegant and expensive pink gown from John Galliano. While the dress code is a little more laid back this time around, there is little doubt that they will spare no expense on everything else.

Meanwhile, if Stefani and Shelton have already laid out their wedding plans they’ve done a great job at keeping things under wraps. While rumors of an engagement continue to circulate, neither star has confirmed anything on the matter. Of course, the two have been dealing with their fair share of issues outside of their relationship.

As Shelton prepares for the upcoming season of The Voice, Hollywood Life is reporting that Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband, Rossdale, is still involved in a relationship with the couple’s former nanny, Mindy Mann. As fans will recall, Rossdale’s affair with Mann is thought to be the primary reason behind his split with Stefani. Even more, Mann is currently pregnant with Rossdale’s child.

Despite the pregnancy, which has since been contested, an inside source told the outlet that Stefani isn’t thinking about her former husband at the moment. Instead, Stefani is focused on raising her three kids while expanding her music career.

“Gwen is not worried about her former nanny right now. She is busy doing other things,” the insider stated. “Gwen is a mother herself and deals with her day to day happenings with her kids. She is in a new relationship and getting over her past relationship [and] focusing on career goals. The last thing on her mind is Mindy.”

Although Stefani isn’t paying particular attention to the details of her ex-husband’s life, that doesn’t mean she is unaware about the situation. Even still, the insider added that Stefani doesn’t hold any ill feelings towards her husband’s lover.

“She obviously doesn’t want anything bad to happen to her,” the source shared. “She doesn’t harp on every move Mindy is making.”

Of course, planning a wedding is yet another thing that Stefani has on her plate besides her children and career. Taken together, Stefani has plenty of things to look forward to as she moves on with her life and future with Shelton.
