‘Prison Break’ Season 5 Spoilers: Sarah Wayne Callies Confirms Return And Details

It is almost time for Prison Break to return for season 5 after being canceled years ago. They have now decided to bring Prison Break back again and the rumors have been flying. Sarah Wayne Callies has finally confirmed that she will be returning to Prison Break for the reboot. TV Line shared the details of what Sarah Wayne Callies had to say about the return of the show and her character Dr. Sara Tancredi.

The thing is, when Prison Break returns Sara will have moved on from Michael Scolfield and even has a new husband. Her now husband will be played by Royal Pains star Mark Feuerstein. The show has already been confirmed to come back for nine episodes and they will be starting filming next month in Vancouver. Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are both coming back as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrow. There is also talk that Robert Knepper will be back on Prison Break as T-Bag, but that is not confirmed yet. Viewers are very hopeful that they will find a way to get him to come back on the show.

So when Prison Break came to an end, everyone thought that Michael Scofield was dead. So Sara moved on, got married, and is raising their child with her new husband. It turns out that Michael isn’t dead though, which will shock everyone and make Sara think for sure. Fox co-chariman/CEO Dana Walden said, “The story unravels on an international landscape — it’s not a domestic [plot]. We open on a very international contemporary-feeling story.”

Now that it is official that Sarah Wayne Callies is back again, fans can’t wait for Prison Break to come back. This show is one that they have been waiting on for a while. The details are just now coming out, but expect more spoilers when filming of Prison Break starts back next month. For now, you can see Sarah on Colony on USA.

Parent Herald shared some of the spoilers for the upcoming Prison Break revival. There is going to be a big time jump when the show returns. It will be five years later and a lot has changed in this time. There was some speculation that Sara would be killed off, but now that she is returning we know this isn’t true. At first, she wasn’t sure if she could make it back to Prison Break and shared, “I have gotten the call, and we’re really working on it. I’ve gotta have faith they’re going to make it work because they know how much it means to me, and it means a lot to them too, so fingers crossed there’ll be good news.”

Michael Scofield and Dr. Sara had such a connection that it would be hard to consider the show without her. Now that she has moved on to someone new, everyone is curious to see if Michael will find a way to win her over and get back in her heart. A show without them together will be something some fans are not happy about at all. If things go well, then Prison Break could return for even more seasons in the future.
