WWE Rumors: Top Rumors Going Into ‘Roadblock’ Tonight – Dean Ambrose To Win WWE Title
With WrestleMania 32 right around the corner, there is still one more big event before the granddaddy of them all happens on April 3. Roadblock is happening on Saturday night as a live special on the WWE Network, and there could be some big-time ramifications that take place because of it. Rumors are flying, and the results of Roadblock may not be as predictable as one might imagine them to be.
Maybe this event won’t have a whole lot of influence on what will happen at WrestleMania 32, but WWE may try to swerve the fans. It certainly wouldn’t be out of the question for WWE to want to change things up so the predictable Internet talk doesn’t end up taking place.
Dean Ambrose is going to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title
After the way Monday Night Raw ended, it doesn’t look like Dean Ambrose will be going over Triple H for the WWE Title. Raw came to an end with Ambrose standing tall and holding the WWE belt in his hands as Triple H lay out cold on the mat.
That being said, Ambrose winning at Roadblock doesn’t seem like it is in the cards. Still, it’s possible, and if it happens, then the No Holds Barred Street Fight at WrestleMania 32 could end up as the main event and a WWE Title match.
On the other hand, Ambrose could win the title and then Triple H could strip him of it, or win it back before April rolls around.
Sami Zayn will have his first match as a full-time member of the WWE main roster
On Monday Night Raw, Sami Zayn made his second appearance on the main roster, but it appears as if it’s for good this time. Reports have already said that he will be a part of WrestleMania 32, and could be part of a rumored multi-man ladder match for the Intercontinental Title.
He is scheduled for Roadblock and could have his first official singles match as a full-time member of the main roster. Another possibility is that he could be Chris Jericho’s guest on The Highlight Reel. Either way, Kevin Owens will be at the WWE Live Event in Atlantic City and involved in an Iron Man match against AJ Styles, as WrestleZone reported.
Bray Wyatt will actually defeat Brock Lesnar
Bray Wyatt is going to be competitive, and that is no question, but no-one sees him actually defeating Brock Lesnar. Still, it could end up happening, again, if WWE wants to shake things up. Luke Harper will be there, but Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman are scheduled for the Atlantic City event.
Still, both wrestlers are going to put everything out there for this match since it was reportedly meant for WrestleMania 32 in the first place. There may be some shenanigans and Harper may end up getting involved, but look for Wyatt to possibly pull the major upset.
NXT will steal the show
The Revival have dominated the tag ranks in NXT for months now, and rightfully have held onto the Tag Titles all that time too. Enzo Amore and Big Cass are reportedly being called up to the WWE main roster soon, and the popular tag team deserves it.
Their tag match on this huge WWE Network special stage is going to be a great showplace for them. Look for them to give it every single thing they have and for NXT to be involved in the match that tops the entire event.
Jim Ross spoke on how JRsBarBQ about just how important Roadblock is for WWE right now, and he says they need a “HOT tv show” on Saturday night. It will help build up even more “anticipation for WM32,” and that there should be a great show with no “non-finishes.”
Saturday night’s live special on the WWE Network may end up being nothing more than an evening of some really great wrestling and storyline advancement. Then again, WWE may look to pull the trigger on some of these rumors and let Roadblock be an event where anything is possible to happen, but fans can only wait now to see.
