‘RHOA’ Season 8 Reunion: Kim Fields’ Husband Confronts Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss’ Husband Blasts Phaedra Parks
It looks as if the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 reunion will show not just the housewives battling it out with one another, but also the husbands giving their adversaries a piece of their minds. On Thursday morning, Bravo released the preview for the reunion show, which filmed two weeks ago. The preview shows Kim Fields’ husband, Christopher Morgan, confronting Kenya Moore about her claims regarding his sexuality. Kenya’s boyfriend, Matt Jordan, speaks up to defend her, which leads to a bit of a heated exchange between the two men. Also, Kandi Burruss’ husband, Todd Tucker, criticizes Phaedra Parks and even questions her alleged innocence over the crimes of her estranged husband, the currently imprisoned Apollo Nida.
During the group’s vacation in Jamaica, Kenya claimed that people in the entertainment industry call Kim’s husband “Chrissy” and that there have been rumors for about a decade that he’s gay. At the reunion, with the men sitting behind the women, Chris directly challenges Kenya to support her claim.
“Kenya who are our mutual friends who call me Chrissy?”
Kenya tells Chris that it’s all over the internet.
“Google yourself and find out.”
Chris demands an answer again.
“Who calls me Chrissy!”
Kenya’s boyfriend steps in and calmly tries to shut down Chris.
“She just answered your question.”
Chris doesn’t appreciate Matt interjecting himself into the conversation.
“I’m talking to Kenya son.”
Matt isn’t backing down.
“But I’m talking directly to you son.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, around the time the reunion filmed, Chris lashed out at some of her wife’s Real Housewives’ co-stars for taking part in the conversation regarding his sexuality, saying that they were just trying to stay relevant.
In another explosive scene from the reunion preview, Todd, as Kandi looks on, accuses Phaedra of playing the victim. He brings up Phaedra’s claim that she didn’t know that Apollo, who was sentenced in July 2014 to eight years in federal prison for bank fraud and identity theft, was committing crimes during their marriage.
“Play the victim. Play the victim. You know so much about what Todd is doing but Apollo is in your house and you don’t even know what the f**k he was doing?”
Phaedra screams back that she’s not playing the victim.
“I’m not playing the victim!”
Another moment of the preview shows Kandi, “You dissing my husband, then you diss my business.”

Early on in Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Todd Tucker accused Phaedra Parks of not paying him the final payment due for an exercise video that he produced for her years ago. Phaedra’s position was that she didn’t owe him the final payment since she never received a completed video that she could put out on the market. During her confessional interviews, Phaedra made fun of Todd’s career and finances, even once saying that Kandi gives him allowance money.
Other highlights of the preview include NeNe Leakes saying that she doesn’t think Kim Fields is “a right fit for this group,” Kenya Moore confronting Phaedra Parks about attacking her looks, to which Phaedra responds that she’s only just attacking her skin, Porsha Williams threatening to expose someone’s “one-eyed African,” and Sheree Whitfield screaming that she’s not going to just sit there while someone’s attacking her. In other moments, NeNe tells Porsha that she can’t put her hands on somebody else, to which Porsha reminds her that she almost choked somebody in a previous season, and Porsha accuses Peter Thomas of cheating on Cynthia Bailey with scores of young women.
Kenya also delivers a scathing line to Porsha.
“You need to shut your mouth Porsha. If there’s not a d**k in it, you don’t know what you’re saying.”
The preview even shows Kim Fields screaming, which she hasn’t done at all so far the entire season. It seems that she’s screaming at Kenya.
“You don’t get to keep interrupting people!”
Kenya seems to respond that Kim can’t scold her like her child. The preview then shows Kim raising her hand and hissing out a warning, to which the other housewives express shock.
“Say something.”
