‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice’s Post-Prison Restrictions Are Making Her Castmates Miserable

Normally, the group trips on the Real Housewives tend to feature exotic places outside the country. However, during the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the ladies are stuck stateside for their vacation. This has left many of the cast members unhappy with Teresa Giudice, whose post-prison restrictions are to blame for the less than desirable trip.

According to Radar Online, the cast members of the Real Housewives of New Jersey wanted to venture off into an exotic place for the group vacation. Instead, they are headed to Vermont, as Giudice is not allowed to leave the country per the terms of her release.

“No one is happy about the trip,” a source told the outlet. “They wanted to go out of the country to somewhere like Jamaica or Morocco like other casts have in the past… Because of Teresa, they can’t go somewhere nice. So they are upset by the situation they have been put it in. Vermont is cold and not the warm, sunny destination they had hoped for.”

According to Us Magazine, Giudice recently finished serving 11 months at a correctional institute in Connecticut for fraud. In speaking about her experience in prison, Giudice revealed that she had to adapt to her environment behind bars and didn’t rely on anyone’s expertise.

“I didn’t know anything [when I went to prison]. You go with the flow,” she stated. “You just go with it, and you adapt. You don’t trust anyone.”

Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe, is currently getting ready to serve his share of time in prison for the same charges. He is expected to spend 41 months behind bars, which has prompted the pair to spend ample amounts of time with each other before his departure.

Meanwhile, Radar Online is reporting that fans will not miss anything concerning Giudice’s time in prison. In fact, production began as soon as Giudice came home, which should offer plenty of drama as the season develops.

Speaking of drama, Giudice told the outlet that her relationship with Jacqueline Laurita is still questionable. Will their feud continue to be a major storyline in the upcoming season, or will the former friends be able to work through their differences?

“We’re working on it,” she shared. “You’ll see how that plays out on the season.

Apparently, fans can expect the new season to feature plenty of squabbles between the ladies. This includes an epic fight between Giudice and Laurita, which centers on Giudice’s time in jail and Laurita’s need to find new friends.

“Jacqueline and Teresa had a big fight on camera,” an insider told the outlet. “Teresa was insinuating that Jacqueline was calling her friends and new cast members to make friends with them while she was in jail.”

Despite all of the drama, Giudice promised fans that the new season will include “a lot of heart.” Considering everything that has transpired since the show’s last season, it will be interesting to see how the women come together.

“It’s great to be around women who lift you up instead of knocking you down and are there for you through tough times,” she continued. “It’s going to be one of the best seasons ever!”

From Giudice’s stint in prison to the drama that is set to unfold between the cast members, fans are definitely in for a wild ride this season. Whether or not this tops previous seasons is still up in the air.

While an official premiere date has not been set, the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is expected to air in the summer of 2016.
