Denver Broncos Rumors: Tim Tebow Could Return With Losses Of Peyton Manning, Brock Osweiler
It’s always just a matter of time until his name comes back up in NFL conversations, and now, there really is reason for it. Peyton Manning just retired from the NFL earlier this week. Today, Brock Osweiler bolted for the Houston Texans. Now, the Denver Broncos are literally without a quarterback, and the talk of Tim Tebow returning to lead the team has started up again.
Everyone thought that Osweiler was going to stick around and lead the Broncos now that Manning was totally out of the picture. All of a sudden, the Texans stepped in and began offering him a better deal and he finally decided to take it.

As reported by the NFL website, that move sets a lot of things in motion and really creates a good deal of confusion. Not only have the Houston Texans landed Osweiler as their franchise quarterback, but now the Broncos are without a leader.
It may be needless to say, but almost instantly after the loss of Osweiler, the talk of Tebow’s return heated up on social media.

As of now, there is no real word on Tim Tebow heading back to lead the Denver Broncos as their starting quarterback. There are some other options out there that John Elway and the Broncos’ brass could look at before making their decision.
First of all, there is the possibility the Broncos could either trade for Colin Kaepernick or wait to see if the San Francisco 49ers end up releasing him.
Kaepernick is still under contract with the 49ers, but the loss of Osweiler may now make the Broncos start up trade talks. The Denver Post has said that the Broncos may start eyeing Kaepernick and see what needs to be offered in order to get a deal done.
A few other options are out there on the free agent market and former Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is another one. After a few tumultuous years in Washington, RG3 was just released a couple of days ago.
According to the Mile High Report, RG3 is now likely to pay a visit to Denver and see how he meshes with the team and John Elway. Griffin has been stricken with different head coaches, numerous offensive coordinators, and just not being a great fit with the Redskins.
Should he land in Denver, he’d fit in much better with the offense of head coach Gary Kubiak.
One other name that is out there, and he’s probably the most talented quarterback on the free agent market, is Ryan Fitzpatrick. It was immediately thought that he would re-sign and return to the New York Jets, but things have changed, and it looks like he’s going to test the waters and find out his worth.
For months, Tim Tebow has been a name that was thrown around a lot in different NFL rumors, and most notably with the Dallas Cowboys. Last year’s injuries to Tony Romo had Tebow’s name coming up again and again, but nothing ever came of it.
Things have taken a very interesting turn now though as his former team is without the man who replaced him (Peyton Manning) and his back-up (Brock Osweiler).

Tim Tebow may never step foot on a football field again as a player in the NFL, but his name is going to continue to come up in rumors for years. The Denver Broncos losing both Manning and Osweiler leaves them without a quarterback and they will have to make a decision soon or miss out on any possible replacements.
