Maria Menounos Engaged To Boyfriend Kevin Undergaro
Maria Menounos is engaged!
E! News host Menounos got the surprise of her life on Wednesday when her longtime boyfriend, Kevin Undergaro, proposed to her live on The Howard Stern Show. While Maria was paying a visit to Stern’s show to promote her new cookbook, The EveryGirl’s Guide to Cooking, which was released on Tuesday, her now-fiancé and the shock jock had something much bigger planned for Maria.
Once Menounos was finished with her segment, Howard asked Kevin to join them in the studio. When Undergaro walked in, Maria got a quite unexpected shock. He dropped to one knee and popped the question.

“Literally like the last 17 or 18 years of us fighting [to be] together, and me defending her as best I could…It reminds me just how much I do love you, and although I said that this isn’t a proposal, I want to ask you something, Would you make me the happiest man on earth and would you marry me?”
Although Maria Menounos did get engaged, saying yes was not her immediate response. In fact, she had to make sure now fiancé was not pulling a fast one on her before she agreed to marry him.
“Are you friggin’ kidding me right now? Is this a joke?”
Kevin was quick to reassure Maria that it was, in fact, the real deal and not a joke.
“It’s not a joke. This I wouldn’t joke about. I love you so much and this show’s meant so much to both of us…Why not make it official now? Will you honey? Will you accept?”
That response from Undergaro was apparently all Maria Menounos needed to get engaged, as she quickly gave Kevin the answer he was looking for.
“Yes, yes, yes! Oh, my gosh! Of course! I can’t believe this is happening!”
Kevin’s shocking and surprising proposal to Maria was accompanied with a gorgeous diamond ring. Undergaro reportedly enlisted the help of Stern’s wife, Beth, to help assist him when it came to making sure he had the ring for his one true love. By the looks of it, he did an awesome job.
Speaking of the ring, according to E! Online, Kevin gave Menounos a custom-made Jean Dousset Seamless Halo. The beautiful ring is made of a round stone, surrounded by 220 uniquely placed diamonds. Maria took no time showing off her bling to all her fans, including posting a Snapchat of her ring.
Menounos and Undergaro have been dating since 1998. Yes, that is almost two decades of dating before Kevin asked Maria to be his wife. While she has built her career around being in front of a camera, he is built his career behind the scenes as a director and producer. Their relationship was briefly featured on the Oxygen show Chasing Maria Menounos. The show focused her Greek family and how Kevin fit into the mix. Before being featured on the show, it was rare that Undergaro would make a public appearance with Maria. In fact, he hardly ever joined her on the red carpet, and that appeared to work just fine for them.
After 18 years of dating, Maria Menounos is finally engaged to Kevin Undergaro. He not only surprised his future bride by proposing live on The Howard Stern Show, he did it with an amazing Jean Dousset Ring and her parents in attendance. With a new cookbook out, some new fancy bling, and a new fiance, life sure is looking good for Maria.
