‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Adds Kelly Meza-Dodd For Season 11 — Everything We Know So Far
With production for Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Orange County currently underway, fans can expect the drama to reach new levels in the coming year. Not only will the return of Vicki Gunvalson create plenty of tension between the women, but the introduction of a new housewife should spark plenty of excitement for the show.
According to Radar Online, the newest member of RHOC is Kelly Meza-Dodd. Meza-Dodd just recently moved to the area in 2014 and previously lived in San Francisco. She is married to Michael Dodd, who is the head of LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. For her part, Meza-Dodd previously worked for Kiss Me Mirrors as the company’s chief operating officer.
Her husband’s net worth is right around the $1.5 million mark. Despite their wealthy status, Meza-Dodd’s marriage is not as healthy as it seems. Apparently, Meza-Dodd is currently going through a rough patch in her marriage, although the exact nature of her problems is unknown.
Apart from Meza-Dodd’s introduction to the new season, Reality Tea is reporting that all of the cast members from last season are returning, including Gunvalson. This is somewhat surprising, especially considering how a couple of the ladies were holding out because of Gunvalson’s involvement with Brooks Ayers’ cancer scandal last season.
Ayers’ fake battle with cancer was one of the main storylines last season. With Gunvalson taking Ayers’ side for the majority of the season, many of her co-stars questioned her involvement in the matter and how much she knew about his lies. Since then, Gunvalson has broken up with Ayers and issued a blanket apology for his lies on the show.
With that in mind, fans can expect the drama to heat up as Gunvalson tries to make amends for her previous actions. In particular, an inside source explained to Radar Online that Gunvalson and Shannon Beador are already fighting with each other about the cancer lies. Will Gunvalson be able to win back the trust of her co-stars?
“Vicki and Shannon are both back on the show for this upcoming season,” the insider revealed. “They have already been going at it about the Brooks cancer drama that happened last season and neither one of them is backing down to each other.”
Meanwhile, filming for the new season has officially been confirmed by Gunvalson’s son.
In a post to Instagram, Mike Wolfsmith uploaded a photo of a cameraman inside his home with the caption, “#season11 is officially underway! Just cooked a sea bass dinner for my mom and a few million other people! #theneverendingstory #my600lblife #realitytv #brangelina.”
The image feature one of Bravo’s cameramen in action along with a look at the food Wolfsmith cooked up for the cast and crew of the hit reality show. The new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County will feature the likes of Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Meghan King Edmonds, and Kelly Meza-Dodd.
In addition to Meza-Dodd, there were reports that Bronwyn Jones was set to join the cast for the new season. According to MNR Daily, Jones has yet to commit to the series full time. However, Jones will be making a few cameo appearances even if she decides to remain a part-time cast member.
“Bronwyn has been filming with them and it is still undecided on whether or not she will join the cast full-time,” the insider revealed.
Jones is a well-known model and actress and should add another layer of depth to the new season.
An official premiere date for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Orange County has not been confirmed.
