‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Spoilers — Ben Higgins May Change His Mind ‘After The Final Rose’ Next Week

All things that are set to happen tonight on the “Women Tell All” special and on next week’s season finale of The Bachelor are known. Sure, not everyone has read the spoilers and wants to watch to find out, but what happened during filming is already set in stone. What isn’t cemented is what will happen afterward and whether Ben Higgins stays with his choice or has a change of heart and switches things up after the final rose.

Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the new season of The Bachelor starring Ben Higgins. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.

Even if it’s not something that had taken place in the past, this season with Ben Higgins would be when it truly has the best chance.

During the overnight dates in the Fantasy Suite that aired last week, Ben Higgins was reportedly intimate with all three of the finalists. Caila Quinn was eventually sent home, but JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell still remain in contention for his heart.

Not only did that happen, but Ben also said “I love you” to both JoJo and Lauren B. on those dates. When all was said and done, he selected Lauren and got engaged to her on the season finale to show where his heart rests.

Is Ben Higgins’ mind made up, though? Is he truly happy with the selection he made a few months ago on the taping of the season finale of The Bachelor? Time has passed and now he may be having second thoughts.

After all, he did tell two women that he loved them and then made his final choice just one week or less later. Even The Bachelor host Chris Harrison has been “shocked” by what Ben has done and had some choice words for his actions this season.

On March 14, ABC will air a three-hour special for the The Bachelor that will include the finale which has Ben’s last dates with Lauren and JoJo. There will be a talk with Ben’s parents, the final rose ceremony, and then the “After the Final Rose” special which will be the portion that airs live.

That’s where things could get interesting.

It’s happened in the past, and not totally out of the question for a bachelor, to choose one woman and then change his mind. As Reality TV World recapped, Jason Mesnick did it in Season 13 of The Bachelor when he originally chose Melissa Rycroft as the love of his life.

Weeks later, he had revealed that he could not marry Melissa and changed his mind. He wanted to marry runner-up Molly Malaney, and thus began worry on the part of every single man or woman who won The Bachelorette or The Bachelor respectively.

Now, Ben Higgins has told two women he loves them and then has choosen Lauren Bushnell to be his bride. The thing is, they’ve had to stay apart for the past couple of months so ABC could keep as tight a lid on things as possible.

With that, it’s not entirely known what has been going on in the mind and life of Ben Higgins behind closed doors. Perhaps he has spent time with Lauren Bushnell, but Mesnick was spending time with Melissa. At the same time, Mesnick was also constantly in touch with Molly and strengthening his relationship with her.

Next Monday, the season finale of The Bachelor will air, but so many already know what will happen and that Lauren B. is getting a ring from Ben Higgins. The thing is, no-one quite knows what will happen during the “After the Final Rose” special. All is possible, and it may not be over for JoJo Fletcher.
