Katie Rost’s Russell Simmons Blog Feud: Julie A ‘White, Stringy Haired B**ch,’ She Replied ‘B**ch, Get Your Own Man’

Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac revealed that Katie Rost once dated Def Jam founder and entertainment mogul Russell Simmons. During the group car ride over to Ashley Darby’s vacation home, talk turned to Katie’s famous exes. Gizelle Bryant asked Katie about her breakup with Russell. Katie explained that Russell started seeing another woman when she was still living with him, and so she was demoted to sleeping in the guest bedroom. She admitted that she “flipped out” on him, “went off” on her, and then wrote a few blogs about it.

Gizelle took out her phone and found one of the blog posts that Katie had posted back in 2009. She laughed as she read out loud portions of it.

“When Julie and Russell got in last night to say goodnight to me, I was chilling in the guest room. I had passed out listening to a Deepak Chopra’s self-help lecture with a mud mask on my face. Russell opened the door and Julie told me I looked oily. They then ran upstairs giggling and having a ‘We’re a couple and you’re a loser who is alone in a bed with a f**king mud mask on her face moaning.’ “

Katie, at the wheel, did not look amused. In her confessional interview, Katie pointed out that Gizelle shouldn’t be laughing about what happened in her love life, since her own ex-husband has been all over the Internet with his cheating escapades.

As the scene aired, Katie tweeted that a blog is better than a restraining order.

What else did Katie say in her blogs? As it turns out, she and the new woman, a model by the name of Julie Henderson, actually engaged in a big of a blog feud. Entertainment Rundown has the full blog post that Katie first posted, the one that Gizelle read a portion of in the episode. In that blog, Katie actually made some snide remarks about Julie, before maintaining that she’s fine with her life and praising Russell.

“I’m not a petty, competitive woman! (Yes I am) but I’m totally ok with the fact that my time with Russell was beautiful but brief. I am genuinely happy that our friendship has formed in the wake. I’m also happy that he has found someone else whose company he enjoys. No, no, no people, I’m not going to hate on Julie Henderson! She’s extremely cute for a White girl. (I’m more partial to the ethnic look, but to each their own.)…But like I said before, all of that is absolutely fine with me. I’m fine in the guest room, Fine fine fine!”

Julie Henderson apparently wasn’t happy with all the attention that she got due to Katie Rost’s blog post about her and Russell Simmons, since she posted her own blog in response to Katie’s. Julie ended her blog by telling Katie to get her own man.

“Just for the record, I am nobody’s white b**ch, gold digger or fame chaser. Nor am I any of the other mean things I have been called lately… I’m sure as s**t not giving him up cause some in America object to our friendship…I wanna close by saying, what Russell always says, Namaste. (That means the goddess in me recognizes the goddess in you)….Or, b**ch get your own man.”

Katie then responded to Julie’s response. Katie called her follow-up “You White, Stringy Haired B**ch.”

“One of my favorite insults is calling a White girl (insert slurred words): ‘You stupid, White, stringy haired b**ch’…If you aren’t clever, you might take me for a hater of White women, which is dead wrong. I love White girls. No, I’m being crueler than that. I’m noticing the ‘stringy hair’. This is a low blow for a White girl. They take pride in that flowing mane…There is nothing wrong with being a Black woman who has just lost a Black man to a White woman and saying ‘Now he’s with that White B**ch’.’…Some times a White Stringy Haired b***h is a White Stringy Haired b**ch.”

In her response blog, Katie also questioned Julie’s claim that she and Russell had only been spending time together for the past four months. Katie wrote that when she questioned Russell about the timelines of the two relationships, he got into some creative explanation involving “mathematical manipulations, ‘leap years’,” and “philosphising over the debate over the ‘roman vs the jewish calender.’ ”

Katie ended her blog post with, “Katie Rost a stone cold nappy headed h*!”

Will Katie Rost be getting her happy ending with a man she loves? On the previous episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Katie was shown asking her boyfriend, Andrew Martin, if he had any plans on marrying her. Andrew expressed reluctance over taking the big step. As the Inquisitr reported, Katie later posted a blog piece for Bravo that indicated that she and Andrew are still together. A week ago, Katie seemed to confirm that by posting a photo of Andrew giving her a foot massage while watching the Oscars.
