Zac Efron Turns Heads On Baywatch Set With Chiseled Physique

Zac Efron turned heads on the set of the Baywatch movie, E! Online reported Sunday. Efron was seen in swimming trunks, socks, and shoes while flashing his abs and very large biceps.

The new photographs that emerged show Zac shirtless, images he shared on his Instagram page on Saturday.

In addition to showing off his ripped body, Efron introduces his character for the Baywatch reboot. His character will be none other than Matt Brody from the 1990’s television show.

Other images coming from the Baywatch set showed Zac with co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. While one image shows Efron relaxing with “The Rock,” another image the two actors engaged in a competition.

While Johnson claimed victory in his NSFW Instagram photograph, Efron paid respect to his competitor by sharing a quote and acknowledging his loss. Zac later challenged “Sasquatch” to a foot race.

Prior to Zac Efron showing images, “The Rock” had also been sharing photographs showing multiple actors and actresses that will appear in the updated Baywatch movie. One photograph that has drawn the most likes is the picture Johnson shared on Friday with female co-star Kelly Rohrbach in a one-piece red swimsuit made popular by Pamela Anderson.

The new movie in the making is based off the hit TV series Baywatch. The television series that focused on the life of lifeguards controlling a highly-populated beach. The hit television show ran from 1989-2001 and made David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson household names.

Baywatch the movie will follow a similar premise, but what story line “The Rock” and Zac Efron will follow has not been disclosed. From the looks of other photographs shared from the Baywatch production area, the actors have been have fun since the first day on set.

Zac Efron previously starred in several movies such as High School Musical and 17 Again. He started out acting at a young age for Disney, and the now 28-year-old actor has branched out to flex his acting muscles – and muscles in general in Baywatch.

Zac recently missed a chance to reunite with the cast of High School Musical earlier this year. The rumored reason Efron chose to miss out on the reunion dealt with seeing his former girlfriend – Vanessa Hudgens – at the Disney-backed event, The Inquisitr reported in January.

Efron was considered and chosen for this new role because of his recent success in the hit movie Neighbors. Playing alongside Seth Rogen, Zac helped spur the film to a profitable finish, setting up a sequel due out this year.

During the filming, Efron was also seen getting up close and personal with Alexandra Daddario. Daddario’s role for Baywatch is to play Summer Quinn, a character that is the love interest of Matt Brody. Zac and Alexandra were reportedly working on their scenes together before appearing in front of the camera.

Other actresses were on the Baywatch set as well over the weekend. Ilfenesh Hadera – who is playing the part of Stephanie Holden – was seen filming parts with Zac Efron as well as the villainous Victoria Leeds, played by Priyanka Chopra.

The Daily Mail reported that Zac Efron and his muscular partner in crime Dwayne Johnson were filmed in a heated argument while the two stars were on the Baywatch set.

Baywatch is set to release sometime in 2017, but it won’t be the only movie Dwayne Johnson will be recording this year. Rumors have swirled around who will replace Sylvester Stallone in Expendables 4, and “The Rock” has been cast as a potential replacement, The Inquisitr reported.
