How well does Bachelor Ben Higgins know Lauren Bushnell? The 25-year-old flight attendant is rumored to be the girl who walks away from the final rose ceremony with Ben on her arm, but will her past put their relationship in jeopardy?
Earlier in the season Ben revealed in his People blog that Lauren took his breath away when she stepped out of the limo on the first day of filming. Although he didn’t give her the first impression rose, it was clear to viewers that he was smitten as soon as he met the Oregon native and those feelings continued throughout the season. Who can forget Ben dropping the word “wife” during his first date with Lauren?

If Reality Steve‘s spoilers are true and Lauren Bushnell is the girl he proposes to there are a few things he may not know about her that could force him to rethink his decision, including a report involves her ex-boyfriend Sean Evans, a recent arrest, and a source that states Lauren is “clingy” and has a “hard partying past.”
The gossip about Lauren Bushnell started earlier in the season when she was rumored to be Ben’s final pick. Her sister, Mollie posted a photo on Instagram and joked about Lauren spending the night in the Indio County Jail last April.
WetPaint recently revealed that Riverside County Sheriff’s Department records confirm that Lauren was held overnight for public intoxication on April 25, 2015, but the whole ordeal sounds pretty harmless. Apparently she had a bit too much too drink at the Stagecoach Festival and ended up behind bars for the night.
Although Lauren’s alleged night in jail for public intoxication sounds harmless, In Touch reports that a source close to her ex-boyfriend, Sean Evans, says Lauren “loves to drink” and it’s “embarrassing to be around her” when she gets drunk because she “turns into a mess.”
“When she was drunk because she’d turn into a mess. She’d have these drunken crying fits in public places — she’s way too emotional.”
The report states that Lauren broke up with Sean just a few months before she started filming the Bachelor, but while she dated him “she would lay by the pool every day taking shots and downing mixed drinks” and then continue to “drink all night.”
The source also states that Lauren was a “super needy” girlfriend and had trust issues when her boyfriend was out with friends, calling and texting Sean “nonstop until he got back home.”
How much of the sources information about Lauren is true? In Touch doesn’t name their source and her ex-boyfriend has not come forward, so the information about Lauren being a clingy girlfriend and drinking too much is unconfirmed.
There’s also the possibility that she’s already discussed her arrest and her past relationships with Ben — filming wrapped up in November, so they have had over three months since filming ended to get to know each other better.
According to Us Weekly, Ben and Lauren spent a week together in Jamaica after the finale was taped and have been seeing each other on a regular basis since then. Producers typically set up a secret location for newly engaged Bachelor couples to meet after the finale ends and the source states that since November, Ben and Lauren have spent “several weekends” together.
One of the “secret” meeting places may have been in Mexico. In late January, Ben was rumored to be in Cabo with Lauren after savvy fans noticed that he did not appear on ABC’s Bachelor Live the same day Lauren posted on Instagram that she was in Mexico.
