Rupert Sanders’ Wife Tweets ‘Wow’ In Reaction To Kristen Stewart Affair And Apology
Rupert Sanders’ wife has finally spoken out on the affair between her husband and actress Kristen Stewart. Liberty Ross kept it simple, too. “Wow,” she tweeted after learning of her husband’s affair.
Though everyone is watching what Robert Pattinson is doing following Kristen Stewart’s awkward and public apology for cheating on him with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, the director’s wife was just as devastated, though she’s remained mostly mum since the media caught wind of her husband’s alleged infidelity. Her only response thus far came via Twitter, a simple “wow,” before deleting her account, reports NY Daily.
It’s even deeper for Ross, who actually played Stewart’s mother in Snow White and the Huntsman. According to Celebuzz, Ross hand-picked Stewart for the part herself. “[Kristen] was my number one choice,” Ross said in May. “I think there is no better Snow White in my opinion. She is great.”
Tragic, considering this choice may have inadvertently lead to her husband’s infidelity. Ross was just an innocent fan of Stewart’s subtle charms. “I mean, I’ve never watched a ‘Twilight’ movie, so i don’t really know, but I loved her in Sean Penn’s film just for that moment that she’s in it,” she said of Stewart’s role in Into the Wild. “Ever since then — she’s got something very transfixing about her. We needed a modern, edgy, cool girl.”
According to Us Magazine, before her “wow” tweet and subsequent deletion of her Twitter, Ross re-tweeted a Marilyn Monroe quote from the Women of History account: “Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
Since Liberty Ross’s Twitter was deleted, we can’t embed her final tweet. But here’s a screencap of it:
