Caila Quinn Spotted Filming ‘Bachelorette’ Intro, Says Finding Love Is Her ‘Number One Priority In Life’
Bachelor fans watched as Ben Higgins break Caila Quinn’s heart on last week’s overnight dates episode, sending her home just hours after they spent the night together in the Fantasy Suite. However, the 24-year-old software sales rep may soon be saying, “Ben, who?” when she’s introduced to 25 eligible men.
According to Reality Steve, Caila was spotted filming in her hometown of Hudson, Ohio — the same place Ben visited during their hometown dates. Although ABC has not confirmed the name of the 12th Bachelorette, Steve states that fans should “start preparing” for the big announcement that host Chris Harrison will make on the After the Final Rose special on March 14 because “it’s gonna be her.”

If the photos of Caila filming and Reality Steve‘s prediction aren’t enough to convince fans, Us Weekly‘s source states that she is, indeed, ABC’s next leading lady. And Caila? She’s been dropping not-so-subtle hints about finding love during her recent interviews with the media.
During a recent telephone interview with the Atlanta Beacon-Journal, she said all the right things about becoming the next Bachelorette without confirming that she got the gig.
When asked if she would be open to handing out roses on TV, Caila gave the same canned line that many Bachelor and Bachelorette stars says when pressed for an answer — “It’s something I definitely would consider.”
She then went on to reveal that finding “the one” is her “number one priority in life” — even if cameras are rolling while she’s searching for her soulmate.
“My No. 1 priority in life is to find the one for me. So if it works for others, it could work for me and I definitely would consider it.”
While many viewers have tweeted that they would like to see JoJo Fletcher get the gig, Caila seems to be a good fit for more than one reason.
During her interview with the Atlanta Beacon-Journal, Caila admitted that she’s never “been broken up with before.” Instead, she’s been the one to break off relationships, including her ex-boyfriend Ricky Knapp who WetPaint says was “her guy” until she ditched him to go on the Bachelor.
If she is the Bachelorette, she won’t have to worry about that happening — dumping at least 24 guys will be her full-time job.
Caila also solves the Bachelor franchise’s lack of diversity issue — she’s half Filipino. The show’s creator, Mike Fleiss recently told Us Weekly that they were leaning towards casting a “non-white” Bachelorette.
Caila seems to be the logical choice since producers usually pick from one of the Bachelor‘s final four girls (JoJo, Caila, Amanda, and Lauren B.) and not someone who left earlier in the show like Jubilee, Amber, or Jami.
If Caila is the next Bachelorette, fans can expect her to make her official debut on the Bachelor After the Final Rose special that airs right after the season finale on March 14.
Before that happens, Caila will face Ben for the first time since he dumped her in Jamaica when the finale was filmed in November. Viewers will see Caila in the hot seat on the Women Tell All special that was filmed last week in Los Angeles.
Caila, who seems to be gearing up for her own journey to find love, tells Us that her sit-down with Ben on the WTA went well and she doesn’t have “any feelings of resentment.”
Watch the Bachelor Women Tell All special at 8 p.m. ET on March 7 followed by the season finale and the live After the Final Rose special on March 14 at 8 p.m.
