Chris Brown Trying To Get Karrueche Tran’s Attention On Instagram? Fans Weigh-In On Singer’s New Pics

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran may have gone their separate ways since ending their longtime relationship last year, but is Chris Brown still trying to get Karrueche’s attention on Instagram?

Karrueche Tran called off her on-again, off-again romance with Chris Brown in March 2015 after learning that the “Loyal” singer had fathered a child with another woman. While Chris Brown and Karrueche have both ignited dating rumors with other celebrities since their breakup one year ago, rumors continue to suggest that Chris Brown is missing his ex-girlfriend after giving the model a shout-out in his new track, “Back To Sleep (Remix),” alongside Zayn Malik and Usher.

In his verse from the sultry track, Chris Brown apologizes to his former girlfriend for “f***** ’round with Keisha and MaKayla” before literally shouting Karrueche’s name at the end of the verse.

“Now where you been, it’s been a year / Baby I ain’t seen you, you know I miss you / Baby let me love you back to sleep once more / And I know we don’t speak no more / But I just wanna tell you I’m sorry / For f****** ’round with Keisha and MaKayla….I just want you to love me / Yeah baby don’t test me / You know I’ll do it / You want me to say your name girl? Okay, Karrueche!”

Despite fan speculation that Karrueche would eventually respond to Chris Brown’s name-drop in his “Back To Sleep (Remix),” the model has yet to acknowledge her ex’s public apology.

A source close to Karrueche recently revealed to Urban Islandz that Tran remains adamant about not speaking to Chris Brown given the nature of their split, admitting, “[Chris Brown] thinks that he can just sing a song for her and she comes running back into his arms, but it would take a whole lot more than that.”

The source further explains, “He did reach out to her again but she made it clear that she doesn’t want to talk to him. She is deeply hurt by him and not once so it is difficult for her to accept him back.”

Karrueche’s decision to ignore Chris Brown’s public pleas for reconciliation came just days before Chris took to Instagram to share a photo of himself hanging out with Rita Ora in Milan, instantly igniting speculation that Brown may be attempting to get Karrueche’s attention given the model’s lack-of-response to his new track, Capital Xtra reports.

In addition, fans have pointed out that Brown has been posting a plethora of new photos of himself hanging out with various women, further fueling speculation that Brown may be trying to provoke a response from Karrueche Tran via Instagram.

“Chris Brown be petty on IG,” one fan writes on Twitter, “He really tryna get Karrueche’s attention. I guess that’s what love does to you.”

Similarly, another fan references Chris Brown’s name-drop of Karrueche Tran in his “Back To Sleep (Remix)” verse with the comment, “Chris Brown had to find a way to get Karrueche attention again lol, dropped a whole verse…” Another adds, “Omg Chris is major petty for saying Karrueche. He just saying that cause now it will get attention.”

Chris Brown has yet to respond to claims that he’s subtly reaching out to ex-girlfriend Karrueche on social media.
