Jessie J Says She’s ‘Celebrated As One Of The Greatest Singers,’ Up There With Celine Dion, Whitney, Beyoncé, Aretha
Jessie J has recently shared her new Instagram photo ahead of filming for new season of The Voice, according to the Daily Mail. The singer will be coaching on the fifth season of the Australian show.
Jessie J’s fans noted that the “Bang Bang” singer looked surprisingly flawless in that selfie, despite the fact that she had just touched down in Australia and had had a long flight from London. With her perfect cheekbones highlighted with a touch of blush, Jessie J had pink lipstick on her lips and dyed cropped blonde locks.
Jessie J captioned the Instagram selfie “Landed in Sydney like zaaaaa,” and received a great number of comments from her fans, who complimented the singer on her perfectly shaped eyebrows and her matching silver-manicured nails.

After touching down in Australia, Jessie J went to a local café, where she enjoyed a breakfast consisting of berries, sliced fruits, and a Vegemite croissant. And the singer just couldn’t resist taking a picture of that meal and sharing it via Instagram. She wrote in the caption “Getting into the Australian spirit.”

In her third Instagram photo of the day, Jessie J revealed that she was headed to the recording studio straight from the airport.

In late February, Jessie J was invited to a concert featuring fellow Australian Voice coaches Benji and Joel Madden. The concert took place at The O2 in London, and the singer was joined by fellow coach Ronan Keating. Nicole Richie and Cameron Diaz were also spotted among the guests.
According to the Sun, Jessie J explained her decision to return to The Voice Australia as a coach because she enjoys coaching and teaching.
“And I love sharing my experiences and knowledge with hungry, aspiring, talented people. So being a Coach on The Voice combines those two things perfectly.”
Jessie J won the fourth season of The Voice with singer-songwriter teen Ellie Drennan. Jessie J later revealed that that win was “a highlight” for her and that she can’t wait for the show to begin in order to meet new singers, work hard, and share the things she had learned during the break.
Apparently, Jessie J is not happy that her native U.K. doesn’t consider the singer “one of the greatest singers,” while the United States does, as reported by Digital Spy.
Digital Spy reported that Jessie J talked in an interview about never being asked to sing at the Brit Awards. The “Nobody’s Perfect” singer has been nominated at the Brits for British Female Solo Artist twice, in 2012 and 2014.
“I’ve done the Grammys, the VMAs… my profile in America is that I’m kind of celebrated as one of the greatest singers and I love it.”
Jessie J also added that she sees her future self “up there with Celine Dions, the Whitneys, the Beyoncés and Arethas.” And the only reason the singer keeps going is because she “hopes and prays” that people will look back and say “She could really f**king sing, you know,” as revealed by Jessie J.
When asked about why she had become so secretive about her private life lately, Jessie J said that as much as she would like to be more open about her private life, she had to become less open “as the years have gone by.”
“All the things my personality had that made me become the person who felt confident enough to be Jessie J, fame just takes away.”
Jessie J added that her fame has taken away her spontaneity, honesty, and openness. When asked about her healthy lifestyle, the singer said that she is healthy because she looks after herself. Jessie J also revealed that when she feels sick, she never takes antibiotics – she tries to “get through it myself” instead.
