‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Stars Dakota Johnson And Jamie Dornan Spotted Packing On The PDA

Filming for Fifty Shades Darker has officially started in Vancouver, and Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are already ramping up the romance. The two Fifty Shades of Grey stars are back for their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Based on the photos from the set, things are definitely going to get heated up in the highly anticipated sequel.

In the photos, which can be viewed on Express, Johnson and Dornan were spotted making out under an umbrella. Johnson wore an orange coat during the scene, complete with a large red purse. For his part, Dornan donned a dark grey suit and tie.

The pair were photographed in front of Seattle Independent Publishing. This is the location of Ana’s new job in the film, which is based on the books by E.L. James. The on-screen couple has since flown back to Vancouver for additional filming.

The images show just how easily the two actors have captured their chemistry once again. By the looks of it, fans can definitely expect a more heated affair when Fifty Shades Darker hits theaters in 2017.

In fact, Johnson said as much when she recently promised that Dornan will show more skin in the coming film. “That’s an interesting question; I’ll probably get in trouble for this answer… yeah,” she revealed. “I’m gonna make him get fully naked in the next one… We should start a movement, a campaign.”

According to MTV, the upcoming film will also center on Christian’s inner emotions and the insecurities that have haunted him over the years. Naturally, this storyline introduces a number of different characters from Christian’s past who have all shaped his life in one way or another.

This includes the part of Jack Hyde, Ana’s new employer in the movie. Along with his handsome appearance, Jack will attempt to start a romance with Ana, which doesn’t end well with Christian.

At the same time, Jack and Christian have known each other for a long time. In fact, the two grew up in smilier environments and are long-standing rivals in the business world. Jack’s obsession with Ana will be one of the main points of conflict in the movie.

In addition to Jack, Movie News Guide is reporting that Tyler Hoechlin has been cast for a part in Fifty Shades Darker. Hoechlin is set to play the role of Boyce Fox in the film. Considering how Boyce is only referenced a few times in the books, it is unclear how big of a role the character will play in the new movie.

In the books, Boyce works alongside Ana in her new job at the publishing house. Apparently, Ana is Boyce’s editor and the two are expected to develop a good friendship. Whether or not this turns into a romance is yet to be seen.

In regards to other new faces, Kim Basinger has joined the project as Elena Lincoln. Elena is another character from Christian’s past who actually taught him the ins and outs of BDSM. Her character is expected to play a pivotal role in Christian’s pursuit of Ana this time around.

Apart from the aforementioned cast, Luke Grimes, Rita Ora, Eloise Mumford, Marcia Gay Harden, and Victor Rasuk are expected to return to the film. Eric Johnson, Bella Heathcote, Robin Lee, and Fay Masterson have been cast as new characters in James Foley’s first major block buster.

Fifty Shades Darker is set to open in theaters everywhere on February 10, 2017, while the third film in the hit franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, is schedule for a release a year later.
