“Dexter” Actress Mabel Pantaleon Goes Missing
Mabel Pantaleon, a New York City-based actress, has been missing since Sunday morning according to multiple media accounts, which also report that she has a history of manic depression.
Pantaleon, 31, has appeared in Dexter on the Showtime network, Mystery ER on the Discovery Network, along with other small roles.

Mabel Pantaleon…vanished on Sunday after she was last seen at her Manhattan apartment on W. 157th Street. The woman’s mother told ABC News that her daughter was on medication but she believes the young actress stopped taking it.
Pantaleon’s mother added, ABC reports, that her daughter saw something on the Internet that upset her “and she started saying a lot of weird things”…
She said, “I’m leaving from here, all of you are terrorists, you’re not my mother.” I knew it wasn’t her.
Mabel Pantaleon’s mother, who called police right away, was required to wait 24 hours before officially filing a missing persons report under standard law enforcement procedures
The actress’s IMDB profile indicates that she was the 2003 second runner up in the Miss Latina New York USA pageant and that she quit a nursing program at the New York City College of Technology to pursue her acting career.
The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in locating the missing actress.
CBS News reports police sources are saying that Mabel Pantaleon was last seen wearing a red shirt with “Drake” on the front and possibly driving a 2004 silver Toyota Camry. No foul play in the disappearance of Mabel Pantaleon is suspected at this point.
