Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian Relationship: Odom Ready To ‘Get Physical,’ Source Reports

Is the Lamar Odom-Khloe Kardashian relationship ready to change? Does Lamar think it’s time to take his relationship with his estranged wife to the next level?

That’s exactly what one Kardashian family insider is telling Hollywood Life. The celebrity news outlet reported that the former NBA player is ready to “rekindle their once sexy romance.”

“Lamar flirts with Khloe every chance he gets. He’s kisses her on her cheek and lips, does little sweet things for her like sending random flowers or unexpectedly going to her house so he’s the first thing she sees after her long work days.”

Odom and Kardashian, who married after a whirlwind courtship in 2009, have been spending more time together as Odom works toward recovery and rehabilitation following a drug overdoes that left him in the hospital for months.

Back in October, Odom was discovered unconscious in a Las Vegas-area brothel, where he allegedly took a dangerous mixture of cocaine and sexual performance-enhancing drugs. When Khloe heard of Lamar’s condition, she rushed to Las Vegas where she spent several weeks at his hospital bedside before transferring him to a Los Angeles hospital so she could be nearby.

At the time of the alleged drug overdoes, Khloe and Lamar were in the final stages of a divorce. The divorce had been filed in 2013.

While the former Los Angeles Laker was bedridden, Kardashian withdrew the divorce paperwork, saying that it simply wasn’t the right time to go through with the split. By remaining married, Kardashian was able to continue making medical decisions on Odom’s behalf.

Once Odom was released from the Los Angeles hospital, rumors floated that Odom may have moved in with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. Soon after, it was revealed that Odom was living in a leased home in the same neighborhood as Kardashian.

Rumors about a Khloe-Lamar reconciliation have flown ever since the Kocktails with Khloe host called off the divorce, but those rumors really went into overdrive with Kardashian’s split from Houston Rockets boyfriend James Harden earlier this year.

Ever since, Khloe and Lamar have been seen getting cozy with one another in public, though Kardashian insists that the pair are simply friends and are not involved romantically. That being said, Khloe is not opposed to the idea of reuniting with Lamar — in fact, during an interview on her talk show, Kardashian called a reconciliation with her estranged husband her “best dream.”

“I mean, that would be like the best dream … like, okay, I hope that my first marriage could happen again, but it’s really hard to erase everything that happened. Just building a friendship back is what I’m doing now,” Kardashian said on the show, after admitting that she’d like to start her relationship with Odom all over again.

If the Hollywood Life source is to be believed, it seems as if Lamar could feel the same way. The source told Hollywood Life that the 36-year-old basketball player feels as if he’s ready to “get physical” with Khloe once again — but Kardashian isn’t having it.

“He’s making it known that he wants to get physical with her again but Khloe’s not ready. She’s just not there. She’s guarding her heart, because she doesn’t know if she wants to take her relationship to that level with Lamar just yet.”
