WWE Rumors: Plans For The Wyatt Family At ‘WrestleMania 32’ Are Shocking And A ‘Travesty’
Maybe it’s due to online leaks. Perhaps it is no fault of their own and has nothing to do with them. It could be that WWE simply has nothing for them. Whatever the case may be, The Wyatt Family has gone from one of the most dangerous and hottest forces in the company to being absolutely buried on television. Now, the plans for them at WrestleMania 32 are quite shocking and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin thinks what’s happening with them is a “travesty.”
For a while, it was believed that the Wyatts were going to be the focal point of Fastlane in February. Braun Strowman was going to show that he’s a monster in a random six-man tag. Bray Wyatt was going to start a feud with Brock Lesnar and get involved in the main event of the match.
Strowman, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan lost to Big Show, Ryback, and Kane.
Bray Wyatt and the rest of the family never showed their face in the main event.
Now, the past two weeks on Monday Night Raw, the Wyatts have been virtually invisible. They won a six-man tag last week which was a match more about a Ryback storyline. This week, they had a three-minute segment and spoke gibberish.
Now, what are the plans for The Wyatt Family at WrestleMania 32?Well, WWE really doesn’t appear to have any as of yet. Brock Lesnar is taking on Dean Ambrose. The Undertaker will take on Shane McMahon in Hell in a Cell. Triple H will defend the WWE Title against Roman Reigns. There are your top three matches, and many other big names are injured.
Randy Orton is out. Cesaro is out. John Cena is out. Daniel Bryan has retired.
A month to go until WrestleMania 32, and there is really absolutely nothing planned for any members of The Wyatt Family. No feuds are going on and there has been no build-up started for anything with anyone or any member of the family.
The promo on Monday Night Raw spoke of a warning for the world, but it more so seemed like they were simply lost.
Braun Strowman will likely still end up in the 3rd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Now, it doesn’t seem so set in stone that he’s going to win it, but he will likely be in and may have a pretty big role in it.Luke Harper and Erick Rowan? Well, the Dudley Boyz appear to be locked in with The Usos. The New Day may end up feuding with Y2-AJ for the WWE Tag Titles and going in that direction for WrestleMania 32, so they may not have a tag match to be in.
Wrestling Inc. is reporting that The Miz defeating Dolph Ziggler wasn’t just a fluke, but is building toward something bigger. Last year, the Intercontinental Title was on the line in a six-man ladder match, and WWE could be heading in that direction again this year.
Harper and Rowan could be thrown into that one. Hell, Bray Wyatt could end up being placed in that match as well. It’s not like he has ever been involved in much of any title pictures, but the way things are currently going, he wouldn’t be the favorite to win it.
The Wyatt Family is being essentially buried, and others think the same.
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin is not happy at all with the way the Wyatts have been booked in the past few weeks. On the most recent episode of The Steve Austin Show, he held nothing back when talking about them.“Here we are now and I mean just quite frankly, it is what it is. [The Wyatt Family] don’t mean what they should to [WWE]. And Bray Wyatt, being the leader of this faction, is taking a huge hit. And that’s a travesty of booking right there because, again, these are some very talented guys within The Wyatt Family structure.”
Austin is not going to keep his opinions to himself, and most of the time, he has a very valid point. Such is the case again as The Wyatt Family is being wasted and it’s hurting Bray Wyatt the most as he is indeed the leader of the stable.
The Wyatt Family don’t really have anything to do right now, and it’s quite sad and tragic. As the Road to WrestleMania 32 continues, WWE is likely going to place them into a program of some kind for the pay-per-view. Still, it’s not going to be at the top of the card and the plans won’t be earth-shattering, and that’s really quite the “travesty.”
