Kim Kardashian Unveils Kanye West 1st Date Video Amid Divorce Rumor: Their Bitter Battle Over Saint West Photo

Is Kim Kardashian doing damage control for her marriage with Kanye West? As divorce rumors swirl, Kim seems to have decided it was the perfect time to polish up the image of her relationship with Kanye. And what better way than to share a video of their first date, which appeared destined to go viral?

Kardashian turned to Twitter to unveil a memory of her life with West when life was simpler, reported ET. In the video that reveals a glimpse of the couple on one their very first outing together, Kim and Kanye take their cues from the Tom Hanks “Heart and Soul” scene in the film Big.

Kardashian also elaborated on the sweet moment on her website.

“This video was from when Kanye and I went to FAO Schwarz and played piano together,” Kim recalled. “This was actually one of our first dates!”

But did the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality TV star imagine then that she would be contending with ongoing Twitter rants from Kanye? West has gotten negative attention for his social media tirades and meltdowns, touching on topics ranging from his off-and-on feud with Taylor Swift to money.

Despite that, Kardashian has sought to defend him on Instagram.

“Currently loving my husband,” insisted Kim. “Hating that people don’t get that Kanye will stand up against the whole world for his creativity and art.”

Despite her defense, rumors that their marriage is crumbling have spread. But an insider told ET that those rumors are “100,000% false.”

However, a new report claims that Kanye is “bitter” about the photo of their first son and second child, Saint West, that Kardashian recently released, according to a source cited by the Mirror.

The internet cooed over the sight of little Saint slumbering. But although the baby was adorable, it wasn’t so cute when it comes to the arguments between West and Kim about the ideal shot.

Kardashian and Kanye allegedly battled it out. Kim is described as calling the rapper’s views as “inappropriate” and “stupid,” while he wanted not one, not two, but three various photographers to shoot the perfect picture.

“Kanye considered himself to be the ‘creative director’ of the shoot, and wanted to get the perfect shot of Saint,” revealed the source.

And with West recently expanding into the fashion world, he had very definite views on the ideal outfit for his son, added the insider quoted by the Mirror.

“[Kanye] wanted [Saint] to wear designer clothes he’d had specially commissioned, but Kim kept saying it was ‘stupid’ and ‘inappropriate’ and that she wanted something uncontroversial and simple, which showed the world that Saint is a gorgeous little baby.”

After all the picture taking had been completed, it was time to make the decision. That involved having West and Kardashian sort through more than 1,000 pictures of Saint West. The three photographers used include fashion photographer Nick Knight, Mario Testino, and Nick Saglimbeni. But none of the professionals satisfied the desire for perfection that Kardashian and Kanye maintained, added the source.

“In the end it was Kim who took the picture, and she loved it. Over 1000 photos had been taken by that stage, and she fought Kanye hard to use her one,” the source revealed.

But the fight didn’t stop there. Initially, they argued over the choice of a celebrity publication versus a fashion magazine for the placement of Saint West’s picture. In the end, Kardashian posted the photo of her son on her app, followed by Twitter and Instagram.

And although he’s known for his Twitter posts, Kanye opted out of retweeting the picture.

The couple reportedly could have made a considerable profit from that first photo of Saint West, with an offer of $2.5 million, but at this point, they’ve reportedly declined such temptations.
