2017 Bugatti Chiron Unveiled At Geneva Motor Show, It’s A Gorgeous Speed Demon

This new 2017 Bugatti Chiron from Volkswagen has diamonds in its speakers, according to the Verge. The speaker tweeters on this $2+ million supercar are made out of diamonds, so it is not too difficult to understand why this vehicle is catching everyone’s attention. The 2017 Bugatti Chiron, revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, packs 1,500-hp, it can get up to about 261 mph on the road, and it is one hot ride that can shatter speed records.

Volkswagen seemed to blow people away with the Veyron in 2005, but they may have outdone themselves this time around with the Bugatti Chiron. Not only does it have 1,500 horsepower, but it’s also carrying 1,180 lb.-ft. of torque, which for a mass production car has never been executed before. This bad boy can ramp up to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, which is pretty ridiculous, and theoretically, it can get over 260 mph at its absolute fastest, and that’s only with the limiter on. With it off, there is no telling how fast this thing could go, which suddenly makes that seven-figure price tag seem completely reasonable.

“We asked ourselves, ‘What do you do when you have already built the world’s best super car?’ ” Bugatti head Wolfgang Durheimer said. “Bugatti had to take one further step. It’s hard to believe we have delivered.”

The 2017 Bugatti Chiron comes with permanent all-wheel-drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and this helps to keep everything in place. The vehicle also have tires that are incredibly wide, which is also helpful keeping this thing, which weighs 4,400 pounds, on the ground. There’s just nothing but gorgeous leather and polished glass on the interior, beautifully shaped and curved and simply astonishing to gaze at, it is all-around an absolute triumph over its predecessor. Luxury, it seems, has certainly not been left out with this model.

“The wait is over. We proudly present you the most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports car in the world – the #bugatti #chiron,” Bugatti wrote on an Instagram post, displaying a beautiful image of the Bugatti Chiron.

Remember the Bugatti Veyron not having a navigation system? Well, that inconvenience has been fixed with the 2017 Bugatti Chiron. Being so luxurious, as well as being the fastest car in the world, Bugatti tells us that the 2017 Chiron will run you $2.61 million. And if you decide to add some of its ultra-luxurious accessories on top of that, you could run that bill up to nearly $3 million.

“Bugatti will reveal the Chiron at the Geneva International Motor Show on March, 1st,” Bugatti wrote on Instagram. “We will broadcast the press conference live from Geneva on our homepage.”

The 2017 Bugatti Chiron really is the ultimate sports car. You’ve got five drive modes to choose from. There is the Auto EB mode which you can use for everyday driving in regular conditions. You’ve got the Autobahn mode, where you can enjoy a unique top-speed suspension adjustment specifically for highway conditions. You’ve got the Handling mode, if you just want to have fun on the race track. The Lift mode allows easier access for things like ramps and garages. Finally, the Top Speed mode is only activated by a top-speed key, and should really only be used when you’re under severe circumstances.

“It is part of human nature to cross boundaries and set new records – to run 100 m faster than ever before, to fly even further into space and to enter new realms,” Wolfgang says of the Bugatti Chiron. “This striving is also our driving force at Bugatti. The Chiron is the result of our efforts to make the best even better. Bugatti has tested the limits of physics. There is no area where we have not achieved significant improvements.”
