Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Calling Off Divorce, How He Won Her Back After The Cheating Allegations

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner shocked fans when they announced their plans to divorce this past summer. Despite their break up, however, the two have remained close in the intervening months. Although keeping their children together was one reason for their unusual post-divorce situation, it now appears as though the two may have reconciled. How did Affleck turn things around and win back Garner’s love?

For starters, the two haven’t exactly been that secretive about spending time together. In fact, Affleck and Garner have been spotted on numerous occasions in public with their children. This included vacationing together in Montana and spending the holidays together as a family. According to OK! Magazine, a recent intimate dinner date points towards the two moving beyond family gatherings and back into a romantic relationship.

Affleck and Garner were seen eating dinner together at Hinterland in Santa Monica without their children. Eye witnesses who saw the couple in action described their outing as “the epitome of romance from start to finish.” Was this a proper date? And does it indicate that Garner has decided to get back with the Batman v Superman star?

As fans will recall, Affleck and Garner shockingly announced their divorce last year on the eve of their 10th anniversary. Although they did not cite specific details on why they decided to split, Affleck’s rumored affair with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian, was believed to be at the heart of their split.

“He realized he’d made a monumental mistake and needed to do everything he could to prove himself to Jen.”

Ben Affleck’s desire to reconcile with Garner was apparently behind the couple’s recent dinner outing. In addition to the romantic vibe, the dinner consisted of a fancy off-menu selection of food, including caviar, filet mignon, and, of course, red wine.

During the dinner, eye witnesses reported that Affleck offered Garner a “tearful apology,” which “finally softened her heart.” In the end, everything came down to the notion that Garner “misses” Affleck and is ready to take him back.”The way he’s acting has opened her eyes to the new and improved life they can have together,” the source added.

At the same time, Hollywood Life is reporting that Garner came well prepared to the dinner, complete with fitting attire. Does this mean that she knew what Affleck was up to the whole time?

“Jennifer was wearing heels and a tight black dress; she looked gorgeous, and Ben was being very gentlemanly; helping her with her coat, pulling out her chair.”

By all outside appearances, their evening outing had all the romantic trappings of a real date. Considering their impending divorce, this is definitely not the way two people who have broken up normally act. Instead, this does seem to point towards the idea that the two have gotten back together and are willingly to work on their marriage.

At this point, it has not been confirmed whether or not Affleck and Garner have called off their divorce. That said, the 2016 Academy Awards might offer a bit of confirmation on the subject.

Garner is set to be one of the presenters at the prestigious awards ceremony. With her attendance all but confirmed, it will be interesting to see if Affleck is her guest on the red carpet. If the two do appear side by side at the event, then fans can certainly take it as a good sign that they are on the road to getting back together.

The 2016 Academy Awards is scheduled to air on February 28 on ABC.
