Elton John Throws Major Shade At Janet Jackson, Accuses Her Of ‘Lip Syncing’ And Tells Her To ‘F**k Off’
Elton John’s list of enemies continues to grow just as long as his career. Recently, Elton John threw some major shade at performer Janet Jackson, who has recently seen her own resurgence in her music career.
According to E!, Elton John spoke about Janet Jackson in a lengthy interview with Rolling Stone. That said, he doesn’t just pinpoint Jackson, but rather takes a huge issue at all pop stars, at least the ones who lip sync instead of sing during their live performances. After all, singer Lady Gaga, who’s known as a pop act, is godmother to his son, Elijah, so he must not hate all of the pop stars in existence.
“You know, f**king music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, ‘This is the greatest show—four and a half stars.’ It’s f**king lip-synced! Hello! That’s not a show! I’d rather go and see a drag queen. F**k off.”

As many may know, Janet Jackson has been touring on and off in support of her new album. The singer had to take some time off of her busy tour to tend to a mysterious illness. While no one knows what this illness was, Jackson had to go under the knife to correct it.
Of the rumors that Jackson was operating on cancer, the entertainer said, “The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I’m recovering.”
As for Elton John’s laundry list of enemies, the performer recently made comments about Mick Jagger’s band The Rolling Stones. In a conversation with a radio station, Elton John went on to call The Rolling Stones irrelevant. Instead of capturing magic in a bottle, he said Jagger’s band should be focusing on what they did best in the blues genre, instead of trying to compete with younger artists in the pop genre.

“What I think the Rolling Stones should do is a great blues record, and go back to what they used to do – and do things like ‘Come On,’ the Chuck Berry song like they did in their early career. That is what they should do. I think Mick [Jagger] wants to still be relevant on the radio. Well, they are not. And I think Keith [Richards] would love to do a record like that. And that is what they should be doing.”
As the Inquisitr reported in a bombshell interview, Elton John went on to reveal a 40-year feud with late artist David Bowie. John spoke to the Evening Standard, and revealed that he never made amends with Bowie. He went on to explain that while the two got along well in the beginning of their careers, he found Bowie to be snooty. Of their differences, John said the following.
“He once called me ‘rock’n’roll’s token queen’ in an interview with Rolling Stone, which I thought was a bit snooty. He wasn’t my cup of tea.”
That said, like the rest of the world, he was stunned by the late rocker’s sudden passing. He described getting a call from his husband David at 3 a.m. and immediately thought that something had happened to someone in his family. “I thought of the kids, something has happened to the kids. And David said, ‘I thought I better let you know, David Bowie has died.’ And I was shocked … I couldn’t go back to sleep.”
