‘Ted Cruz Was The Zodiac Killer’ T-Shirts Now For Sale, Procedes Benefit Abortion Charity
Just this week, the Inquisitr reported that the internet is rampant with rumors that GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz might just be the Zodiac Killer. Now, Ted Cruz “fans” and Zodiac Killer fans alike can snag a T-shirt depicting Cruz as the infamous, never-identified serial killer.
Interested consumers can visit the Big Cartel site and order a shirt that reads “Ted Cruz was the Zodiac Killer.” The shirts are only $15, and a big portion of their profits go to charity. The charity in question is one that would likely run vehemently pro-life Ted Cruz the wrong way. The “West Fund” is a charity that helps fund abortion services for women in West Texas, an area directly impacted by Ted Cruz’s anti-abortion policy making. According to the website, roughly $11 per shirt is donated to the charity.
“Ted Cruz is a terrifying monster. You know who else was a monster? The Zodiac Killer, who claimed to have killed 37 people in the Bay Area. Ted Cruz has never denied being the Zodiac Killer. The conclusion is simple—and Ted Cruz has never publicly refuted it.”
The “Ted Cruz…Zodiac Killer” T-shirts were designed by artist Rory Blank from Austin, Texas. According to the site, the artist makes “some really cool stuff.”
It’s important to note that the T-shirt website goes on to clarify that the shirt is satire, and there is “no way” that Ted Cruz is actually the Zodiac Killer. It also promises that shirts will be shipped in late March. While the premise that Ted Cruz might be the Zodiac Killer seems pretty laughable, it’s really picking up some steam on the internet, especially social media.
As a lawyer, I believe in due process & rule of law, &, even though Ted Cruz is likely the Zodiac Killer, he’s innocent until proven guilty.

you guys have probably never noticed this, but @tedcruz looks a LOT like the sketches of the still-at-large zodiac killer. Makes ya think.

The connection between Ted Cruz and the Zodiac Killer goes even deeper than satirical T-shirts and social media banter. A major Florida poll is asking potential Florida voters whether or not they believe Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer, reports Gawker. The poll, brought to you by Public Policy Polling, the same folks who previously asked Republican voters whether they’d support the bombing of the fictional Disney kingdom of Agrabah (home to Aladdin), is currently questioning voters about their thoughts on the Ted Cruz/Zodiac Killer connection.
(Full disclosure, Republican voters overwhelmingly supported the idea of bombing Agrabah.)
To say voters were surprised by the final question of the poll is an understatement. The final results of the poll have not yet been made available, but according to Public Policy Polling, Florida voters are showing some openness to the idea that the GOP presidential candidate might just be the Zodiac himself. We are finding many Floridians can not rule out the possibility, although few are convinced of guilt https://t.co/OPsWIl97Sy

So, how did this idea take root in the first place? According to SF Gate, the connection between Ted Cruz and the Zodiac killer started way back in March, 2013. It was then when Twitter user “Red Pill America” sent out a tweet about Ted Cruz speaking. According to the tweet, the title of the speech was “This is the Zodiac Speaking.”
#CPAC Alert: Ted Cruz is speaking!! His speech is titled: 'This Is The Zodiac Speaking'

Ever since, Ted Cruz has been pressured to confirm or deny whether or not he is, indeed, the Zodiac Killer. As the seller of the “Ted Cruz was the Zodiac Killer” T-shirts mentioned on his site, though, Ted Cruz’s timeline doesn’t jive with that of the Zodiac, who was responsible for killing at least four people in the San Francisco Bay area during the 1960-70s.
The Ted Cruz campaign has been contacted for their official word on whether or not Ted Cruz is, in fact, the Zodiac Killer; so far, neither the campaign (nor Cruz himself) has opted to comment.
