Kylie’s Instagram Account: Is Kylie Jenner Ready To Retire?
Kylie Jenner’s Instagram account closing down? It can’t be true! But that’s exactly what the 18-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star just announced. According to the Daily Mail, the social media queen told Wonderland magazine that she’s thinking about deleting the Instagram account. Jenner is unhappy about maintaining the “glamorous social persona” for her 50 million fans on the social media platform. She says that persona isn’t the real Kylie Jenner.
“Actually, I kind of just don’t want to do it anymore.”

Teen Vogue reports that the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan is “burning out” on Instagram, and is looking for a change. Kylie’s Instagram is incredibly popular, and the Telegraph calls her “one of the most famous people on the planet.” She’s also part of one of the most famous families in the world, and “is already a millionaire at the age of 18.” That’s a big burden to bear, even for a member of the KUWTK reality family.

Jenner hurtled to fame after turning 18 last summer, taking charge of her own marketing, as well as going officially public on her relationship with her much older boyfriend, Tyga. At the time, older sister Kim Kardashian was the undisputed queen of the social media world, and there was a lot of speculation over whether Kim was jealous of Kylie for moving in on her territory.
Kylie Is A Little Kim. She's So Relevant. She's Literally ALWAYS Making Noise On Social Media & Media Outlets & She's Only 18.

Now, it looks like Kylie would be only too happy to give back the Instagram crown to Kim. The Telegraph reports that Jenner explained in the Wonderland interview how she feels. The Kylie Jenner Instagram persona is ready to retire, so that the real Kylie can pursue other “behind the scenes” interests.
“Kylie Jenner needs to retire.”
As the youngest of the KUWTK stars, Kylie was only 10-years-old when she started the ordeal of having to grow up in front of the camera, and her “entire life has been documented.” Now that she’s experienced what it’s like being an adult in the Kardashian world, she’s ready to take on a different role.
“I want to be a businesswoman and be behind the scenes.”
Kylie has a growing business empire with her specialty cosmetics company that started out as Kylie’s LipKits, and a new fashion line with super-model sister, Kendall Jenner.

“I am not Kylie Jenner. That’s my alter-ego.”
Kylie’s alter ego has a reputation as an attention grabber, whose main interest is, well, Kylie. That persona is concerned with a new hair color, new ways of doing her nails, and all the perks of life as a famous, wealthy Hollywood Star. The gold rolex, the luxury cars, and the incredible “designer pieces” are the things that Kylie Jenner’s fans want to see on her Instagram platform, but the star herself isn’t that interested. For the real Kylie, those are all the material things “that will not make anyone happy.” She says of her luxuries, “That’s not real.”
Of course, even if Kylie will be happy to retire her famous persona, a lot of fans will be heartbroken if she disappears.

One fan put it best, saying simply that Kylie’s Snapchats give her so much happiness.
