Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's new relationship is making their fans feel all warm and fuzzy, but members of the Westboro Baptist Church think that Shefani is an abomination.
The protest-happy hate group has been at war with Blake Shelton ever since he divorced first wife, Kaynette Gern, and married second wife Miranda Lambert. The Westboro Baptist Church loves to engage in hate speech, and it's most well-known for attacking the LGBT community and picketing funerals. The church is also against divorce, which is a common occurrence in the entertainment industry. However, Entertainment Tonight reports that the Westboro Baptist Church singled Blake and Miranda's divorce out in 2013.

We'll be picketing @blakeshelton this Friday @ Sprint! Warm your voices up w/our parody! Boys Round Here https://t.co/WQgHfQqq4JThe church's tweet included a link to parody of Blake Shelton's popular song, "Boys 'Round Here." The spoof tune features a few judgmental lyrics about divorce and homosexuality.— Westboro Baptist (@WBCSaysRepent) February 23, 2016
"Yeah the boys 'round here think it's okay to be queer / getting divorced, remarrying sluts / drinking sweet tea and J.D. / Yeah, and chasing their lust."Blake wasn't about to let the Westboro Baptist Church get away with using hate to attack his love life, so he responded to the group's threat by cracking a joke about adultery.
Great!!!! Lots of my crew guys will be happy to see your wives.. Again. https://t.co/ZWLdigaMZGEntertainment Tonight reports that Blake Shelton tweeted something similar in 2013 when the church threatened to picket his Kansas City concert. Unfortunately for the Westboro Baptist Church, its actions have not hurt Blake's career at all—during an interview with Access Hollywood, Gwen Stefani pointed out that her boyfriend has created a whopping 21 chart-topping songs. Blake also stars on The Voice—and he's dating Gwen Stefani. He's definitely winning this battle.— Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) February 23, 2016
Also @WBCSays... Y'all may want to keep an eye on ur women at my show.. I've got a few band and crew guys that'll be smacking that holy ass!Blake Shelton also attacked the Westboro Baptist Church by tweeting that members of the group look inbred, and he let the hatemongers know exactly how he felt about their mean-spirited Miranda Lambert memes.— Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) September 26, 2013
You know what else god hates? Inbreeding... pic.twitter.com/E6OuO5hZrF— Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) September 26, 2013
"@WBCSays:We know BS when we see it! pic.twitter.com/ZTZiUm9B53"Hey WBC.. I've got one more sin for ya... Blow me.Blake Shelton was a married man when he fell in love with Miranda Lambert, and he's always been very honest about how their relationship blossomed. According to Us Weekly, Blake told VH1's Behind the Music that he first started having feelings for Miranda when they performed together. He said that he "never had that kind of experience with anybody."— Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) September 25, 2013
"I was a married guy, you know? Standing up there and singing with somebody and going, 'Man, this shouldn't be happening.' Looking back on that, I was falling in love with her, right there on stage."Blake Shelton later told Us Weekly that his marriage to Miranda Lambert would be his last, but many Shefani fans are hoping that this doesn't turn out to be the case. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been plagued by wedding rumors for months, but Blake told Entertainment Tonight that he and his ladylove think that it's "awfully early" to be talking about marriage.

As E! News points out, Gwen Stefani has also proved that she cares deeply for Blake Shelton by releasing an entire song about him titled "Make Me Like You." The cheerful tune's lyrics might not be a marriage vow, but Gwen does sing about how she hates being away from her cowboy and how he makes her feel something she's never felt before.
"Yeah this is a feeling I'm not used to / Why'd you have to go and make me like you? I'm so mad at you 'cause now you got me missing you."Why should Blake Shelton care what the Westboro Baptist Church thinks of him when a woman like Gwen Stefani thinks that he's worthy of such sweet words?
