‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Sasha And Abraham Flirt In Season 6, Episode 11 ‘Knots Untie’ — Will Another Interracial Couple Rock AMC Series?

AMC has released the new promo trailer for The Walking Dead Season 6, Episode 11 titled “Knots Untie.” The TWD promo revealed a new adventure for Jesus, Rick, and Daryl, but there’s more going on in the background and some viewers are catching on. After a close call with Negan’s goons in Episode 9, it seems that Abraham and Sasha might have a bit of chemistry going on. Fans of The Walking Dead just saw Rick and Michonne finally admit their feelings for each other and then land in bed. Is the newest trailer teasing that TWD will be getting another interracial couple?

AMC pushed the envelope and took a huge risk with the Richonne relationship that finally happened last week. Now it looks like The Walking Dead might be bringing Sasha and Abraham together too. Does that make the show one of the most progressive dramas on television right now? The AMC show is highly popular with just over 19 million viewers watching the Season 6, Episode 10 installment titled “The Next World.” Despite some backlash over the new relationship between Rick and Michonne, many fans are excited to see their heroes come together as a family. Who knew The Walking Dead could be so entertaining while still socially conscious and progressive at the same time?

Sasha and Abraham have worked together very closely, and they seem sad to hear that they no longer will be guarding Alexandria together. In the teaser, we learn that Sasha is going to be replaced by Eugene, and she will be starting a new watch on the other side of Alexandria. Abraham seems both sad to see Sasha go and a bit annoyed that he’ll be working with Eugene again. It’s hard to tell if Abraham is still really upset with Eugene or if he just really enjoys Sasha. The chemistry between the two TWD characters is pretty obvious, and it wouldn’t be surprising if there is a bit of romance between them.

Naturally, some believe that Abraham and Sasha’s flirtatious farewell is a means to and end of at least one of them. Like Wetpaint said, someone has to die in the upcoming episodes, and given their very close brush with death at the hands of Negan’s men, it very likely could be one of them. Especially now that Sasha and Abraham will be working separate security details and with Negan bound to show up anytime now.

The Walking Dead has been teasing a possible relationship between Abraham and Sasha for several episodes now. Was that just setting the tone for Rick and Michonne as a way to ease viewers into what could be a controversial coupling? Some fans believe there isn’t room in Alexandria for another happy couple, let alone another interracial couple.

Although Abraham and Sasha got some airtime in the recent sneak peeks, it looks like The Walking Dead Season 6, Episode 11 “Knots Untie” will focus more on Jesus now that he’s been introduced.

The episode synopsis on IMDb says, “Jesus leads Rick and the group through the dangerous road to the Hilltop Colony.”

Last week, Jesus teased fans with what might be coming when he told Rick’s group that their world is about to get a whole lot bigger, and it looks like we’ll get a glimpse at that world on Sunday night. That makes many feel like Abraham and Sasha getting attention in the promos is just foreshadowing of their separation and possibly one of their deaths rather than a romance.
