‘Dance Moms’ Season 6 Spoilers: Kendall Vertes Disses Brynn Rumfallo, Thinks She Is The ‘Next Maddie’
Dance Moms Season 6 has been extended for an “unspecified number of additional episodes” by Lifetime. Contrary to earlier reports claiming that the Lifetime show is about to get cancelled following Maddie Ziegler’s alleged departure and Abby Lee Miller’s fraud bankruptcy charges, it seems that the reality show is gaining even more popularity.
According to Deadline, Lifetime ordered more episodes for Dance Moms and Bring It! The additional episodes will begin filming this April, and are set to premiere by the latter part of 2016.

Early this February, Entertainment Tonight confirmed that Maddie Ziegler will not be returning to Dance Moms after Season 6. An insider revealed that Ziegler’s mom, Melissa Gisoni, confirmed the rumor herself during a taping of the Lifetime reality show. Her younger daughter, Mackenzie Ziegler, will follow in Maddie’s footsteps and leave ALDC, as well.
This did not come as a surprise, given that Maddie has missed several competitions and tapings of Dance Moms Season 6. The 13-year-old is currently busy filming for her debut film, The Book of Henry.
With Maddie Ziegler’s departure from the Lifetime series and ALDC, Dance Moms fans are starting to wonder who will eventually take her place. Ashlee Allen, Brynn Rumfallo’s mom, has been very insistent in claiming that her daughter will be “the next Maddie.”
The stars of Dance Moms Season 6, particularly Jill Vertes, were definitely not convinced. If anyone was to replace Maddie, Jill insisted it would be her daughter, Kendall K.
“Kendall K has been groomed to be the next star. There’s a pecking order here at the ALDC and sister, you’re in the bottom. I’m not going to sit here and let you take away everything that we have worked for.”
Ashlee, however, argued that Kendall Vertes was not doing so well this season. She even claimed that some Dance Moms fans felt that the 13-year-old has lost her passion for dancing. Ashlee also called out Kendall’s alleged “passive-aggressive” behavior towards Brynn. She pointed out that some of the ALDC members were not as welcoming to her daughter.
“At competition Kendall told Brynn she couldn’t be in the pictures because she was not on their team. Nia actually said, ‘Kendall you shouldn’t say that’ and she goes, ‘Just kidding.’ That is so passive-aggressive and you don’t condone it. Your daughter’s a smart ass just like you.”
Ashlee Allen may believe that Brynn Rumfallo is going to be the “next Maddie Ziegler” but even Debbie Allen thinks that the dancer still needed a lot of training.

In an episode, the coach pointed out that Brynn lacked emotion while dancing. She added that it was not enough to have beautiful legs and feet.
“Brynn has no emotion when she dances. Debbie Allen has said it, everyone has said it. Brynn is boring,” Jill Vertes said.
When Brynn Rumfallo failed to impress the judges in her first solo competition, as seen on Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 7, Abby told Ashlee that her daughter is still not an ALDC member just yet. She explained that she is still “on probation.”
In other news, International Business Times reported that some Dance Moms Season 6 fans were wondering if the new mini team will take the spotlight now that Maddie Ziegler is leaving the elite junior team. Seemingly dropping hints, Abby Lee Miller posted a photo of the minis on Instagram, with the caption, “ALDC minis – Will they be the team?” The outlet reported that the minis will be making a return and perhaps causing more drama in the coming episodes.
Dance Moms Season 6 airs Tuesdays on Lifetime.
