Demi Lovato Does An Impressive Fetty Wap And Christina Aguilera [Video]
Demi Lovato recently received rave reviews for her part in the 2016 Grammy Awards in tribute to Lionel Richie. Demi nailed her part of that performance and many said that she should have gotten a bigger spotlight on the stage. The range of Demi Lovato’s voice left viewers in awe. With this performance barely in Demi’s rear view mirror, she went on to be a guest star on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. Once again, she wowed the audience with her musical range and talent.

Demi Lovato was a part of the popular Wheel Of Musical Impressions segment on the Tonight Show. How it works is that a musical impression generator matches the name of artist to a random song. The guest and Jimmy Fallon then take turns doing an impression of the artist singing the randomly generated song. This segment has created quite a few laughs and typically creates a buzz when singers nail their impressions of others.
Demi Lovato did three generated impressions. Her first was of Cher singing “Bingo Was his Name-O,” and her impression was on point as she was sure to evoke Cher’s deep vocals and threw in a few signature growls. It was a quick impression, and the show definitely got better from there.

The most unlikely combination of Fetty Wap and “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” did not seem to faze Demi at all. She performed the impression to the tune of “Baby Will You Come My Way.” Demi was on point and Fallon looked simply shocked that the impression was possible.
“Fetty Wap! That’s a great one! Who does a Fetty Wap?”
“Twinkle Twinkle” was surprisingly awesome on the “Baby Come My Way” beat and was great thinking on Demi’s part. Lovato’s final part of the segment was an impression of Christina Aguilera. Pulling off Christina was definitely not an easy challenge, but add in the fact that she had to sing the theme song for Spongebob Squarepants and it made the challenge seem impossible.
Demi Lovato did not disappoint, though. She pulled off a stunning impression of Christina Aguilera. Some said that Demi may have done a better Christina than Christina. The impression was so great that Jimmy Fallon decided to call it quits and declared that he would not be able to top her impression.
On The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon did impressions for Louis Armstrong and Dave Matthews but they did not hold a candle to what Demi brought to the stage. The segment for The Wheel of Musical Impression can be seen in this video.
Ariana Grande also killed her Wheel of Musical Impressions a few months ago, as can be seen in the following video. Did Demi or Ariana do a better Christina Aguilera?
Christina Aguilera is not too bad at doing impressions herself. Demi and Christina both nailed their Cher impression, and Christina was on point with Ariana when channeling Britney Spears.
Fetty Wap should make a guest appearance in this segment as well, that would make for an interesting watch.
Lovato recently announced that she will be releasing a video for “Stone Cold” on February 23. Demi even provided a teaser on Twitter. Demi Lovato is also scheduled to show off her vocals at the White House when they salute Ray Charles during The White House celebration of Ray Charles’ music.
Demi Lovato shows no sign of slowing down, and she is definitely grabbing her well-deserved spotlight.
