Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Ready To Reconcile? Estranged Couple Vacation With Tom Brady And Gisele Bundchen

On the surface, Ben Affleck’s relationship with Jennifer Garner appears as normal as any marriage. They live together with their children, venture out into the public together, and spend time vacationing during the holidays. If it wasn’t for their announced divorce last year, one would assume that they are still a couple. Despite their impending breakup, and considering their unusual circumstances, are Affleck and Garner willing to reconcile?

According to Page Six, Affleck and Garner were recently spotted spending a little family vacation together in Montana this past week. The Affleck and Garner family ventured to the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky Country, a frequent stop for many of Hollywood’s top celebrities.

Interestingly, Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen joined the couple at the ski lodge, with the two families hanging out together over the Valentine’s Day holiday. As many will recall, Brady was connected with the reports that Affleck cheated on his wife with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian.

Fortunately for Garner, Ouzounian was not present during the family vacation. Furthermore, not only was Garner completely fine with hanging out with Brady, but the group had a great time together in the relaxing environment and ski country.

“They had some serious après-ski and shut the bar down. They started drinking bloody marys, then beer and bourbons. They kept the bar open late for them,” an insider told the outlet. “They all ate nachos, even Gisele.”

The insider went on to admit that nothing romantic happened between Garner and Affleck, though the two got along just fine. While this doesn’t bode well for those who want to see them back together, it is a good sign that they can spend time together without worrying about the past.

“There were no nannies in sight, but Jen doesn’t look like she is harboring any resentment. Jen and Ben weren’t lovey-dovey at all, but were super-friendly and happy, relaxed,” the source shared. “They were both attentive to their kids and laughing with Tom and Gisele.”

Meanwhile, it does not appear as though Affleck and Garner are ready to reconcile, despite spending more and more time together. Instead, Us Magazine is reporting that their motivation for the family trips and get-togethers is based on their need to keep things normal for their children.

“They want their kids’ childhood memories to still be good,” an inside source explained. “They’re together only for the kids, not romantically.”

According to PEOPLE, Affleck’s relationship with Garner is now more of a friendship than anything romantic. The only reason why the two are remaining together is for the benefit of their kids, Violet (10), Seraphina (7), and Samuel (3). “They have a cohesive friendship,” an inside source told the magazine. “They are a unit for their kids and they have a mutual respect.”

The recent sighting in Montana is not the first time the two have been seen in public. In fact, they are frequently seen grocery shopping with their children, going to church, and even spending time dining together.

However, their occasional outings at a cheese bar in Santa Monica reveals the nature of their relationship. According to an eye witness, it was clear that the Batman v Superman star and Garner are no longer attracted to each other. “You can tell they are not together,” the source stated. “The kids usually tell him long stories about what happened in school or upcoming activities.”

At this point, Affleck and Garner are clearly willing to remain friends for the sake of their kids. Whether or not this eventually turns into a reconciliation is yet to be seen.
