Kristi Lee, Formerly Of The Bob & Tom Show, Reveals Her New Venture, Vows To Be Uninterrupted

Kristi Lee, News Reporter on the Bob & Tom Show, surprised fans when she made a sudden departure after the first of the year, as reported by The Inquisitr. Although she released a statement, which was posted on the Bob & Tom web site, stating that she was moving on to explore other ventures, The show itself failed to report on her absence at all.

Kristi Lee’s departure was a shock to all, especially when the long time co host did not receive any sort of farewell tribute by the remaining hosts, Tom Griswold and Chick McGee. Instead, the show continued on without her as she was immediately replaced by previous co host Pat Carlini. In a stranger turn of events, Kristi Lee’s contagious laughter was soon removed from the laugh track that is often played during various songs and skits, also being replaced by Carlini’s laughter. Essentially, Kristi Lee’s Existence was erased from the show’s history.

Bob Kevoian reacted to the Bob & Tom show’s failure to recognize Kristi’s departure via Twitter, obviously upset at her lack of recognition.

“Shocked and saddened that @bobandtom has said nothing about @Kristileenews leaving show. She deserves better. #DisappointedRetiree”

Chick McGee also addressed his sadness in Kristi’s leave on his podcast, outside of the Bob & Tom show realm.

In addition to Chick and Bob’s final words on Kristi Lee’s absence, news outlets such as the Indianapolis Business Journal reported that after 27 years, Kristi Lee finally left her spot as the news director, but were skimpy on the details, claiming there was no return call when they reached out to Kristi Lee of the Bob and Tom Show.

Despite her absence from the show, Kristi Lee started to be more active on Facebook and Twitter, providing teasers into her future venture, asking that fans stay tuned for more in the near future. In the meantime, she seemed to spend some time hanging out with her children, going out with friends, and finally sleeping in.

Each post that Kristi Lee made on social media was followed with a barrage of followers telling her that they miss her on the show and hope she is doing well. In addition, the anticipation got to many of her fans as they asked her to reveal her next project.

On February 9, Kristi Lee posted a photo on Facebook, warning fans that something big was coming soon.

“Mock up but it’s coming soon..”

The image clearly shows Kristi Lee’s image on Dr. Will’s website, with the tag line ‘Kristi Lee Uninterrupted’.

The Indy Star reported on the image, claiming that Kristi Lee declined an interview. However, they stated that Kristi Lee Uninterrupted will air on April 5 at DrWill.

Details of Kristi Lee’s new show are still fuzzy at this time. However, the show’s title plays of the fact that Tom Griswold rarely let Kristi Lee get a word in on the Bob and Tom show. Her new show still says “Coming Soon” on Dr. Will’s website. However, the details that are posted claim that she will finally be able to speak and talk to the guests in her own style.

“News, Guests, Conversations, and a few laughs!”

Many fans have reacted in Kristi Lee’s favor at her disappearance from the Bob & Tom Show, some wondering if she left on her own free will or if she was fired from her position. It is unknown whether Kristi Lee will discuss the terms of her departure on Kristi Lee Uninterrupted, or if she will begin the new show as though the Bob & Tom Show never existed.
