Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom — Back Together Or Not?

Lamar Odom has made a lot of progress following his nearly fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel this past summer. In addition to spending time with Khloe Kardashian during a recent New York getaway, the former NBA star was spotted in his first public appearance at Kanye West’s recent Yeezy fashion show. With Odom clearly on his way to a great recovery, what is next for him and Khloe? Will the two remain together or go their separate ways?

According to E! Online, Khloe has remained committed in her efforts to see Odom make a full recovery. Not only did this include her putting off her planned divorce from Odom, but it also meant her taking care of Odom in the hospital. However, has anything really changed between the two? And is Khloe willing to give him a second chance?

“That’s not a priority right now for Khloe,” an inside source explained to the outlet. “Her top priority and main focus is Lamar’s recovery and well-being. Their relationship status comes after that. He needs her right now regardless of anything.”

Khloe was in a relationship with current NBA star James Harden when Odom’s unfortunate incident occurred. Although the two separated and were going through a divorce when Odom nearly died, the source revealed that “Khloe never stopped loving Lamar.”

In fact, while Odom was recovering in the hospital, Khloe was by his side making sure he had someone to help him during the recovery process. “Khloe is overprotective of him and is always careful about pushing him too much,” the insider shared.

Meanwhile, it still isn’t clear if the two are romantically involved, or if their relationship is more of a friendship. According to Mirror, the two spent Valentine’s Day together but kept things strictly in the friend zone.

“It was more a day of friendship than romantic love. Lamar appreciates Khloe so much for everything she has done for him these past few months,” a source explained. “[He bought Khloe] beautiful flowers for being the woman and friend he will always love.”

At the same time, Khloe Kardashian took to Instagram following her date with Odom and posted a heartfelt quote that read, “Spend your time on those who love you unconditionally. Don’t waste it on those who only love you when the conditions are right for them.”

In her own words, Khloe went on to clarify her post. In particular, she outlined what she believes is the difference between conditional and unconditional love.

“I think that, at any given point, we are faced with the choice of whether to move on with what the universe gives and takes or to hold on and bury ourselves in our own misery,” she wrote. “The choice is yours. Choose your happy over anything else. Love is different for us all. Be strong to Accept only unconditional love.”

Does this mean she is willing to stay by Odom’s side despite what happened in the past?

At this point, it isn’t clear if Khloe and Odom will remain together or eventually follow through with their divorce when the timing is right. Whatever ends up happening, E! Online is reporting that Khloe is happy with the progress Odom has made in recent weeks and is devoted to continuing her support in his time of need.

“He’s good, he’s so good. It’s just insane what the human body can do,” she explained. “We went on a hike the other day, Kim Kardashian, myself and Lam. It’s just crazy how quick things change and you never really know and that’s such a blessing. And I believe in God and praying and I’m so grateful.”
